I also hate orange I had a really bad experience with them in the past so I decide even though I had got 8 months left on my 2year contract id just pay the monthly instalments of £21 pound until the contract ended and I switched to Vodafone the sim card was not being used at all as I was using my new contract so when it came to the end of my orange contract I went in store and told them that I wanted to end it etc etc because they say if you don't let them know it continues so they gave me a number to ring to do this, which I then did as well as paying a settlement bill so as far as I was concerned that had ended and I was no longer a orange customer thank god! Then recently I have received a bill from orange stating they have been trying to contact me as I owe £69.57!!! so again I rang them up and got nowhere they say they have got no evidence of me ringing to end it and its still an on-going contract after putting me on hold and saying the number has been used recently so basically calling me a liar they hang up on me and then ring me back a few days later telling me how to pay the bill !!!!

Really bad service, they couldn't even give me a break down of the so-called charges. Its strange how I have never received a letter from Orange but about 10 different creditors demanding money! Really poor value for money and customer service is terrible.

The amounts they charge are ridiculous, phone skills are awful and our overall time being an orange customer has not been a pleasant experience

Sign up with this company in good faith and then later try to switch providers -- welcome to Orange Hell. I'm used to talking to call centres in India where staff are courteous and helpful. Orange support staff are polite and totally unhelpful, even cutting the phone link if they find your question too difficult to answer. I'll never go back to them.

Complete scrounges, my minutes never refreshed, just carried on vein used throughout the months. i never got the data i was originally paying for and they charged me for things that didn't even show up on the bill!

Right I've been on orange for 5 months and my end of month bills have been good untill recently when I was charged £160 and then this month I went over my minutes and was charged £120 and then when the final bill came it was £170 so to be honested it is the shitest network ever they charge u for un explained things as others have also said !!! It prper is a waste of money to be honest ?

I have been with Orange about 14 years with three phone accounts. Started as good value but got progressively worse value so I decided to move to another network. Have had a really poor service trying to leave the network with conflicting advice form different people. Unexplained charges on the final bill and when I was trying to get them clarified I was dealt with aggressively. There are better value providers out there and their customer service is better. Avoid Orange.

Like EVERY other mobile phone network, when your coming to the limit of your mins, texts or data, you recieve a warning text saying "you are coming to the end of your usage" BUT WITH ORANGE, if you was to come to the the full usage of your data they will give you an extra 250mb for the cost of £5 (without your consent) they will do this 4 times = £20. but if you went over this, they will charge you anaditional 45p per MB (WITHOUT YOU KNOWING UNTIL THE TIME YOU HAVE TO PAY A BILL) customer service is terrible, i went over my usage from listening to a radio station app for 90mins, which cost me £646.20. i was unaware i was going over on my data and orange left it to the bill for me to find out, and i had to pay the FULL amount. i was devistated. ive been an orange customer for many years and this will most deffinate be the last business i will EVER do with them. USELESS

I applied for a contract phone and was accepted ! I had my confirmation email which confirmed the date and time of delivery etc after several hours I still had not been given my tracking number for the courier so I ring customer services and explain to them , the man tells me the phone will be with me on Wednesday and I will receive a text msg with tracking number ... Anyhow Wednesday I wait in all day no phone and still no text msg ! So I ring customer services again and explain to which I get informed that I had been declined!! I check the status of my order via the orange website and it says getting readied for dispatch ! So after waiting in all day ...there was nothing coming my way I didn't even recieve a email explaining that I had been declined they just kept stringing me along !! AVOID !!!! They don't know what their on about

I have a contract with orange and have been with them forn6 years. My phone broke and was taken to bury st Edmunds shop on the 19th of December and got sent to the repair centre on the 22nd December . A week later i wondered what was happening to my phone , i had no update from anyone , i then logged into the tracking system to find that the repair was in progress on the 2nd jan . On the 7th jan I made a call to orange to be told that there was no record of my phone on your system. I then called back the next day hoping that the records may have been updated and was told that the phone was in repair on the 2nd! Which i already knew. They gave me the repair contact number for me to contact them which I tried several times with no hope of a person to answer my call which was vey frustrating.i kept calling orange for help but know one was helping me. I called on 13th jan and they informed me that the phone had now been dispatched on the 11th back to bury st Edmunds shop. I have tried calling the shop but no answer, I am unable to just pop over due to my working commitments . I have been paying a full months contract, unable to use the Internet and still without a phone or knowledge of where it is. I still have not got my phone back and I have called orange plenty of times and they are very unhelpful and I am disappointed. It has been 42 days since my phone was sent off for repair and they told me on Thursday that it had been lost and last seen 3weeks ago. But the annoying bit is that they sent me to the shop to tell me that it was back and all repaired last Wednesday. I went all that way with two toddlers for no point!!!! It is still not resolved and I have had enough. I really want to cancel my contract but I am 6months into it and they won't help me at all. I will not recommend orange to anyone and will not go back to them when my contract has ended in 2014.

I had a 18 months contract which i then extended for a further 18 months, making me a loyal customer for 36 months which i never missed a payment, i started in a new position in my company and received a company phone, so no longer needed my personal phone, my contract had expired so i phoned Orange Customer Services on 17th Jan 2012 to cancel my contract gave 30 days notice paid my bill on 17th Feb 2012 and then cancelled my direct debit, Orange for some reason have been trying to charge me every month since then. Orange have now ordered a debt collection agency to collect £162 of me, Said that i requested a pay as you go sim so my contract stayed open, for 1 i didnt request a pay as you go sim and never received 1, i have been on the phone to the debt agency about 20 times and cant seem to get anywhere, i followed the terms and conditions by giving orange 30 days notice this is still on going and my credit history is badly affected due to this, does anyone have any advice?

The same thing happened to me, but for a lot less as I had reduced my tariff to the minimum £10.50 because I hadn't used the phone for a few months. I got a call from them 4 months after I'd cancelled my contract saying I owed them £42. Like you, when I'd cancelled my contract they asked me if I'd wanted to keep my number and transfer it onto a pay as you go, and because I'd never used it they assumed I'd changed my mind and kept charging me every month for a phone I didn't use. I'm sure there are many more people out there who have experienced this by Orange, fortunately for me after several calls to them they finally cancelled the debt, but recently I discovered that it was put on my credit file as a bad debt, which I've told them to remove, so you should also check that too after you have sorted this out with them.

absolutely abissmal. would never again sign a contract with orange. was sold this contract on the basis that I could suspend the contract each and every time I returned to Ireland. as soon as i went to suspend was told was only available once in the entire life of the contract. I have now just received a bill from them which is 3 times what i should be paying! ludicris!

Had my iPhone contract for just over 12 months. My phone had a bit of a freak out and was continually downloading data. I phoned up customer services and explained the situation. Asked them to add a data bolt one as I didn't want to get charged for the problem. Phoned up later in the day to try and sort out the issue. I was told it was ok, I had to go to apple and get them to agree that it was the phone. Booked and appointment at apple, who said yes it is your phone, we will replace it. Phoned up orange again told them that it was the phone and it had been exchanged, to which there reply was, how do we know you exchanged the orange iPhone, and not one on a different network? Apple have been great and have sent them numerous emails explaining the problem, but orange arnt budging on it, they say tough, it's not their responsibility. Not the most understanding of companies if I'm honest.

I took out an orange contract around 12 months ago. I signed for a blackberry torch on an 18 month contract after being told that i could get the features i wanted free through the panther swappables. I found out within the first few days that the handset was not compatable with the swappables. took it back and was told there is nothing they can do. they thought it was compattable. i went back a week later with proof that my handset was not compattable and after a long battle with the store manager he replaced my handset a week later for a blackberry bold, still not compattable with all the features i was told about but better than the torch. 6 month later i find that i was moved to a 24 month contract, still paying the same rates but unable to upgrade after 18 months...all without my consent. I i treated people that way in my job i would have been fired by now!!

Well, as a loyal customer to orange for over 4 years, never a missed bill I phoned them in August to see if they could make me an offer for the new Galixy S3, now this is not a cheap phone and I was looking at paying around £30 a month, I was hoping that they would offer me something... well the man on the phone was incompetent to say the least! He argued with me that they did not offer anything under £35 even though on the website they were advertising the dolphin package as £33. While I was on the phone, he spent most of the time trying to boost his sales figures for broadband! I took my business else where to T Mobile and got an S3 with unlimited texts and 300 minutes plus enough broadband for my extensive use for just £26 pe month! Their customer service has been amazing (yet a company who are supposed to be in relation to orange!) SO i phoned Orange to ask to be disconnected on 23/08/2012, I was told this would be done immediatly but would take 28 days, fair enough.... this week I get a bill for £16 to be taken out by direct debit on 08/10/2012 for a phone which was cut off last month! I managed to wait on a premium rate number for 35 minutes to speak to a non english speaking representitive as I no longer have an orange phone who was less than useless.... eventually I tried again from a friends mobile to get through where it was explained that I owe them for 3 days so they're taking £16 for those 3 days but apparantly refunding me about £13? What a stupid company! Ironically within 10 minutes of getting off the phone, my boyfriend gets a text off them saying my magic number was no longer applicable, looks like the incompetent staff did not turn my service off afterall and are now billing me for their mistake!

I had the same problem wanted the same phone and would not budge an inch even when threatened to leave the cheapest off was a standard tarif £36 I have been a customer 8 years and they have always offered a discount in the past when upgrading in the end I got a better deal going through a third party dial a phone and stayed with orange as they have best coverage in my area . I got a deal £28 per month with 4 months free 600 anytime min unlimited text and 1 GB data. Can not believe that a third party can offer a better deal than going direct to orange as soon as the other networks catch up to orange with coverage I will leave and never return . Outraged . And a second point I could have got an Evan better deal if I changed my number and took out a new contract with orange it the typical thing not looking after existing customers and offering the best deals to new customers . Bunch of u no what

I've been with orange of 6 years at least. Sometimes the call reception is not the best but other times it's better than Vodaphone. I've never really had problems with the customer service and when i have been over charged for things they have, eventually rectified the bills, though this can take a few months. I would say that you need to watch you bills to make sure they're not taking more than they should. As for upgrading with them I feel I've always come out on top. 2 years ago I got a shiney new Galaxy S for free on a £20 a month tariff. Only this week I paid £70 for a Galaxy S3 on a £15 a month tariff. Ok I'm not a power user and text and use data far more than I call But I thought the deals were ok. The GS3 cost £453 in all which is better than you could get it sim free + I get the minutes/texts etc. So in all they ain't so bad.

I rang orange customer service and requested the PAC code on the 21st April. They said they will send it to me within the next 2 hours but didn't, called again the next day, the same happened. I called again on the 23rd and they said theres an error in my account and a PAC code cannot be generated but was told the error will be fixed in 24 hours. Called again after 24 hours and they said wait another 24 hours. Called again after that they told me to wait 48 hours. Called again after 2 days and they told me I will have to wait 1 week! Send an email to customer service to complain, no reply.

Worst service ever! I have tried several times over the past weeks to end my expired contract. But every time after entering my number & security code at the point where I am going to be "put through to a customer service representative" I am cut off. Have tried from both the Orange phone and a landline on the 07973 and freefone numbers. The secure chat on their website comes up with a message to say that everyone is busy. I would just cancel the Direct Debit - especially since they notified me by text that they are increasing the price - but need to get the number ported!! Orange I hate every inch of you
