Something To Talk About

If you are a fan of Julia Roberts (and I am since a teenager and have every film! :)) then you will enjoy another good performance from this top actress.

Julia plays the part of Grace - a daddy's girl employed by her father to run a horse training business. She is married with a daughter who shares her passion for horses. Grace discovers that her husband Eddie, played by Dennis Quaid, has been putting his womanising ways about. This scenario throws the whole family into turmoil as they are all forced to address issues within their family, issues amongst themselves and the family values they have been living by.

Grace seeks refuge with her sister Emma Rae, played by Kyra Sedgwick, and I am amazed at how much they look like each other in this film. (Perhaps it's the hair?)

Emma seems to be the only one of the family with her head screwed on and fiercely defends her sister.

I love the twists and turns to this movie which is funny but has an element of seriousness to it as it probably would relate to issues that a lot of us Joe public have been through.

Is there a happy ending? You'll just have to watch it and see.
