Serendipity. This movie is beautiful and so motivating but reality hits us at the end. A movie worth watching and daydreaming !!!! A beautiful movie, makes us wonder if this can really happen, well its nice to have hope, but i guess its just a movie.

Serendipity is a lovely film. It is based upon two people who meet while Christmas shopping after reaching for the same pair of gloves. To compensate for one of them losing the gloves to the other (as there are no others left), the other treats them to a coffee at a restaurant called "Serendipity". While sat talking, Jonathan (Cusack) asks Sara (Beckinsale) why she chose that particular place to go. She said it was because she liked the name serendipity, meaning an accidental misfortune. It's clear from them talking that there is a spark between them, and that it's turning into romance. However, because they were both out Christmas shopping for respective lovers, Sara decided that it wasn't the right time for them, and so they test fate to see if it can bring them back together.

Many years later, having lost each other that night, both are engaged to be married. Still, neither can shake the need to give fate one last chance to reunite them. Jonathan enlists the help of his best man to track down the girl he can't forget, starting at the store where they met. Sara asks her new age musician fianc for a break before the wedding, and with her best friend in tow, flies from California to New York, hoping destiny will bring her soul mate back.

Can once in a lifetime happen twice? Well, you'll have to watch it to find out.

It's a delightful romantic comedy and the idea is really sweet, with a great soundtrack (Nick drake, listen out for it at the end, the scene at the ice rink, you'll know what I mean!), this film is a must for the girlies film collection!
