Epic - the lyrics, the vocals, the drums & the guitars. Truly EPIC. Words don't sum up this album... they really don't!

A great piece of music, filling in the biggest gaps in Grunge history and probably the best known Grunge record of all time. With Nevermind, Nirvana became world-known deca platinum artists.
Great sounds, real Grunge and Alternative wave. Simple, but good guitar riffs, bass lines and drum parts. Has its own variety of sounds and melodies, but sometimes, in my opinion, it gets a little bit out of hand. But nevertheless, one of the best rock albums to ever hit the music world.
Overall, if you liked Smells Like Teen Spirit, the album is yours to be listened.

This for me is the best Nirvana album that there was!
My favourites 'Smells Like Teen Spirit' and 'Come As You Are'.
These two tracks are probably the ones that get the most air play, but don't be fooled, as there are plenty of Nirvana songs out there that are just as amazing. It is just that these do happen to be the ones I like the most.
Nirvana do not appeal to all. My mum for example isn't so keen. But for all of you out there with a tendency towards indie/metal (though it is hard to say what Nirvana really were), then you should buy the Nevermind album - I doubt that it will fail to please.
Nirvana will still have a strong following long after our lifetime, It still appeals to all generations, and so it should!

My eldest son used to play this album a lot before he left home. Whenever I hear it I remember him as a teenager, with long blonde hair, practising his guitar and really wanting to be like Kurt Cobain of Nirvana. He is now quite an accomplished guitarist, and he plays in a great band himself. Kurt's music was quite an influence on him, and still is.
The Nevermind album is great for listening to in the car or at home. In fact any time anywhere. Even years after Kurt's death it has never dated.

Nirvana's Nevermind is simply one of the finest albums of all time. The songs are very simple and rythmic with a catchy vocal over the top. They sound like rocked up versions of every great Beatles song. Some songs stand out such as 'In Bloom' and 'Lithium' as real classics. If you are bored of the ridiculous amount of indie rock that sound the same then this album will renew your interest in music.

Ah, Nirvana... I would say that this album, Nevermind, is a great collection of tracks by Kurt Cobain (R.I.P) and his band. The lyrics used are meaningful and strong, along with the fantastic use of intruments, I enjoyed listening to this album and would recommend it.

I didn't really care for this album at firsy but the more i listened to it the more addicted i became. especially with songs like in bloom and lithium, all hail the great genious Kurt Cobain.

Nevermind by Nirvana is the most important rock album of all time. Reasons are numerous, but principally because it revived and revolutionised the music scene. Nothing since then has had the same impact. The powerful concoction of thuderous riffs, psychological screaming and molestered create a masterful pieceof art. An extremmely powerful collection of majestic brusing songs this is truly excellence in a CD. 100% pure.

Nirvana were a grunge band...no more...no less. I know the label grunge seems to incorporate a wide spectrum of bands with the likes of Mudhoney, Sonic Youth, Dinosaur Jr, Alice In Chains, Pearl Jam, Freak Of Nature, Send No Flowers, Stone Temple Pilots and Soundgarden, all slotting in within the same pigeon-hole, but Nirvana really were stuck right in the middle of it all. I don't think there was, or ever will be a band who fitted under the name 'grunge' better than Nirvana do.
