Led Zeppelin Iii Is A Very Underrated Album That G
Led Zeppelin III is a very underrated album that gets buried between the infinitely heavier discs Zeppelin II and Zoso. Zep III is largely acoustic, with the exception of fan favorite Immigrant Song.
The album contains some slight, though certianly good, material such as Bron-Y-Aur Stomp and Hats Off to (Roy) Harper, but it also includes two of their most beautiful songs: That's the Way and Tangerine.
Also worthy of mention are Friends and their cover of the folk song Gallow's Pole. For fans of Zeppelin who are only into headbanging, there's nothing much to find here. But for those who can appreciate songs like Going to California and In My Time of Dying, Led Zeppelin III has much to offer.
