This version of the song is not good. Phil Collins does a FAR better job. His voice is much smoother and has a lot more emotion.

There is strength in the voices of each of the vocaslists. The balance of harmony is perfect and it is sung beautifully. I am not sure why some people think that because another artist sings their song differently that it ruins it, because every artist brings their own interpretation to the table. I didn't care for the split jeans Mariah wore when they were a fashion trend. Although she could wear a burlap sack and still look cute in it!

It's a really good song and has really nice lyrics but it would be better if Mariah Carey wasn't involved. Overall, good and worth a listen.

Unfortunatley I thought that the Phil Collins version of this song was far better than Mariah Carey and Westlife's. This was because there was much more feeling in the Phil Collins version and this seemed to be lost when Mariah and Westlife covered it. Shame, because I like the song.

Mariah Carey Feat. Westlife, Against All Odds - Are they trying to ruin Mariah Carey's reputation? The only good part of this is her singing - she can sing, they can't. Their voices don't go well together either.
