Deicide, Once Upon the Cross
Glen Benton really kicks with these vocals and with that inverted cross carved into his forehead you know he puts on a good show. Once upon a cross is a great song (one of my favorites) and being the opener it had better be. This c.d. has fast driving metal with quick riffs, drums, vocals, and of course double bass drum kickers. The only downside is that they use pretty much the same sounds throughout the entire album.
