“very poor CSR and i have been a long time customer”

Having bought 4 SSD hard drives from them, make Adata SU 650 They have all developed faults. they are only 2 months old Under no circumstances should anyone return any hard drives with any of your information on the drives 7 dayshop failure to grasp this astounds me I, therefore, would not recommend using them, they certainly won't be getting any more of my business As you are a relatively new company Perhaps you could do with some advice, Having spent 40 years in sales and marketing I would always tell new salespeople and CSR, If we do a good job the customer will tell 3 people how great we are, If we do a bad job the customer will tell everyone that will listen, how bad the service was. that was in the day before social media and the ability of the customer to have a voice. so the free advice is never let your customers go away disappointed regardless of what it costs its just not good practice

“Customer service is absolutely deplorable”

Customer service is absolutely deplorable, they simply would not accept that there items listing description was both incorrect and contravened trading standards. This being due to 7Dayshop, does-not supply all items associated with your purchase. In my case I purchased a set of Bluetooth headphones c/w driver software. The driver software was not supplied, therefore the headphones do not work. Furthermore they would not accept liability even though the sales page and description clearly stated that the driver software was included. As the Bluetooth headphones were 7Dayshop’ own brand a manufactures software supplier could not be located, nor was any assistance was provided whatsoever. THEREFORE BEWARE WITH 7DAYSHOP OWN BRAND ITEMS AS THEY ARE NOT SUPPORTED WHATSOEVER.

Thank you very much for your feedback on this matter, we appreciate this.

In reply to your query (and as we have previously stated numerous times), this is an issue with the Win7 64bit operating system. The headset does not need drivers, it is your operating system that does. We do not have a driver for this (as it is not needed) and we only have the manual. This is in the additional tab as a downloadable Document and not a Driver.

If you are having persisting difficulties getting drivers from Microsoft, we suggest using an external Bluetooth Dongle which, once again, we have suggested in the email correspondence as well.

You have been provided with all the correct and necessary information in this matter and I cannot see any issues in terms of the service you have received.

Once again, the headset does not require a driver.

“Very Unhelpful”

Do not purchase 7 day shop own brand of battery charger, WH2-Ds_145 Mine never worked after getting out of the box for the first time, they refused to repair, replace or help. I could send it back at my own expense tho for them to 'look at'?! Then once looked at what..charge me for sending the rubbish back? Yes it was a few days out of warranty, but as i explained, it was purchased for a trip that never happened and was never taken out of the box to use until 20 days past warranty. A cheap bit of rubbish. Always go for an Energiser brand....and preferably not from 7 day shop!

“Rubbish customer service”

Bought an SD card that didn't work, tried to return but was just quoted the companies policy that they did not have to accept returns. Now I have a non - working SD card, you're better off buying on Amazon.

I repeat, buy from amazon, they will refund without hassle if you have an issue, 7dayshop will just 'politely' remind you of terms and conditions like this guy. And you'll be stuck with something that doesn't work.

I got lucky and only lost the cost of an SD card, cheap lesson learned - Don't buy 7dayshop.

“Terrible product and terrible customer service ”

Avoid buying ink from them. I bought a premium HP 364 set of cartridges It is badly manufacturered with little to no quality control. The ink I got began leaking as soon as I removed it from the packaging. The seller had the audacity to advertised it as "Premium". To call the product I received adequate would be a massive understatement. After trying multiple times, 2 out of the 4 ink wouldn't even get recognised by the printer. Eventually I removed all 4 ink cartridges and threw them away. Avoid this company at all cost. Get your ink from somewhere else.

“Won't stop sending me spam emails”

Can't remember what I bought, sure that bit of it was fine. But since then they have bombarded me with spam emails that I didn't sign up for. And there is no way to stop it. Follow the link on the email? Doesn't work. Contact them through their website? Doesn't work. I hate companies that do this.

“Night Knight Multi Use rechargeable Motion sensitive...”

Motion sensitive function only seemed to work when the device was in a lit area which was rather pointless and even then the amount of light produced by the light at the bottom of the device was less than a glow-worm. After several emails I was only allowed to get a refund-was not allowed to pay extra for an alternative device. Very disappointing service.

“Lost for words and lost in the post”

Good: Cheap batteries recommneded by Which? Order dispatched 2 days after being placed. Bad Order not arrived after 10 days Email to CS-Reply was "We are unable to re-send or refund until after 14 working days from shipping. What?, just resend and if I get double I'll post it back.Or you could write off the £4.55 :) Nope, kept waiting.... Order finally turned up 13 days after shipped-all the way from Netherlands to UK. Could have walked there and back quicker. Summary Good cheap outlet for batteries, camera stuff, just do not expect speedy delivery or helpful CS.

“Never known such a poor service”

Needed 2 memory cards urgently so paid extra for next day delivery. Neither arrived next day. One (the one that was less important)arived after 2 days. The one I really needed next day arrived a week later. Useless. Also the responses from 7day were plattitudes. Talk about lack of customer service. NEVER again.

I have used 7dayshop for several years and always found the prices a delivery good. But when things go wrong 7dayshop is a disaster. My order was sent to my London address rather than to the French address I thought I had entered. When I saw the error on the confirmation note I tried to find a cancel order facility on 7dayshop website so I could reorder. There was no clear means - Amazon almost invites you to cancel! So I sent off 2 E-mails through normal channels and 2 messages through the 7dayshop website. FOUR days later I received an E-mail telling me it was too late to re-direct the order. The explanations by the so-called customer service staff were cynical and I will not use 7dayshop again.

Ordered micro SD card. Took 10 days to arrive then package empty!?! Tried to do 'live' chat - not 'live'! Sent e-mail - no response. Finally got live chat to respond - do you want us to re-order? Very poor - they were more bothered about telling me where it was sent from (not my problem) than retaining me as a customer. Very, very poor.

“unreachable poor customer service, faulty goods”

I bought a usb supply to plug in the car 12v socket. first time i used it it went up in smoke. i had to pull it out before the car caught fire. I have tried contacting 7dayshop via their customer contact on their web site but they never respond. live chat never works either. i last month bought a micro sd card from them which turned out to not be suitable for a gopro as they sent a full size sd card, i sent it back to get a refund which took far too long. I had to resort to bombarding them with emails and facebook daily before after a week they even responded. very poor customer service if anything goes wrong and their own brand products I now call into question. I have been buying from them for years but these last 12 months they have really really dropped off. i thought online traders had to have a phone number, they do not have one and do not answer emails. be careful

I ordered an item on 21st of January and after waiting for almost 12 day I contact them for not receiving the item. In reply customer service email me that your item is out of stock ( webcite showing in stock ) so we have despatched it on 29th of January, and they have also mentioned in the email that the item is despatched from outside EU. Now after almost 1 week I haven't received the item. In the mean time I have buy another sd card because I urgently need it. I Have now lodged case with paypal for refund. Please avoid this company if you want your items quickly.

“Uninterested Customer Service”

Tried to buy something off them as the price seemed very good. I thought that the sale had gone through although I didn't get any communication from them but after a week of waiting I logged on to my account and found that my purchase had been cancelled. I asked customer service what was going on and why it had been cancelled and was told that my payment hadn't gone through for some reason and to reorder. Trouble was that the price had gone up since I first tried to buy so I explained that if they'd informed me that there was a problem in the first place I could have reordered at the lower price but obviously they weren't interested in that detail and didn't bother replying. Just cancelling without any notification then not being concerned at all isn't accepable an I won't buy off them again.

If a payment doesn't go through then YOU need to check with your card company - we cant force payment and we state that we will send you an email to confirmation.
Sorry but thats the way the world turns these days - we are not a bad company and take Customer Service VERY seriously.
Our eBay and Amazon and Ekomi reviews are VERY impressive and we have been established over 13 years - we are trying very hard but sites like reviewcentre seem to unfairly damage our excellent reputation...
Try searching for reviewcentre and see what reviews you get for example!

You didn't tell me that the payment hadn't gone through or that there was any problem with my purchase. So I'm sitting like a lemon waiting for it to turn up without a clue that there's anything wrong.
I didn't check with me card company because I didn't know there was a problem. Is this hard to understand?
Then when I found out (by my own checking) that there was an issue you'd put the price up and wouldn't honour the original purchase.
So I took my business somewhere else. That is the way the world turns!

Fair comment but when I shop online I normally get a payment AND order confirmation, if not I check why not...
We get a lot of failed payments - we are not able to check why a payment didn't go through as that is personal to the card holder, sometimes effected by the card company - we cant re-try for Customers either...
But its not that we don't care and its not that we are a bad company please worth a measly 1 star.
Prices go up and down all the time we certainly don't try to pull a fast one on anyone. We know that's not the way forward for our business.

I think you need to retract this - you say "Typical" meaning 7dayshop are some sort of bad company I assume?

I am not sure how 7dayshop are meant to be "bullying" you - I mean is that really the case or are you completely exaggerating to try and make a point?

I would ask Reviewcentre readers to please take a fresh look at the many thousands of un-biased and real Customer reviews at Amazon eBay and eKomi - where you'll see up to 99.7% positive ratings. This is a company that has been around since year 2000 after all - clearly they are not in it for the short term.

Sure things sometimes go wrong - is anyone's life or business perfect - does 7dayshop really deserve so much criticism at Reviewcentre?

I also received an email that I felt was threatening asking me to retract my review or provide evidence. Luckily I'd kept my emails so was able to substanciate my facts. Plus for a company that's only scoring 2.2 out of 5 on Review Centre currently, we're obviously not the only ones who are of a similar opinion.

My point is that Reviewcentre cannot surely be considered accurate or reflective of 7dayshop as a whole nor indeed the many other good businesses who also get a hard time on Reviewcentre. The idea that anyone can come in and write a bad review is VERY unfair to any business. Look at he reviews for "reviewcentre" themselves and you'll see what I mean. I am not alone and just think it unfair. If you look at the real and independent reviews on eBay and Amazon they score close to 100% - so how is it that on Reviewcentre they score so badly - I mean not even 50%. So where is the middle ground and why such a difference. I mean the reviews on eBay and Amazon are made by real Customers - the reviews on Reviewcentre are not perhaps - can you assure me they are ALL genuine?

I am genuinely interested to know just how 7dayshop.com "threatened" you - that is a VERY strong word to use after all!?

To answer your question:
I received an email from "[email protected]" saying that they had been contacted by a reprisentative of 7DayShop expressing your concerns about the content of my review. They even temporarily rmoved my review until I had provided evidence to support my review.
It goes on to say that repesentatives of 7DayShop may choose to take the matter further. This is ovbiously threatening wording!
Following Sharkey's comment, I assume (and it is only an assumption) that I'm not the only person who has received a similar email.
It is not right that people making geniuine reviews are pressured into removing them just because they do not put the subject in a good light. Surely the whole point of reviews is to inform others of your experience. You can't just choose the good reviews, that makes a mockery of the whole system!

As said before, of course people are entitled to their views - It is just that Reviewcentre clearly mis-leads people by rating 7dayshop at under 50% - how is that right when anyone can write absolutely anything without being checked?

7dayshop are not a bad company and never have been - sure some orders go wrong once in a while, email gets logged as SPAM, or the Royal Mail make mistakes etc. - but a rating of 2.2 out of 5 stars suggests that 7dayshop are terrible when they are clearly not. If they were so bad how do they have thousands and thousands of positive reviews on eBay, Amazon and eKomi - close to a 100% rating in fact!?

I note that Reviewcentre used to say "Honest and Impartial" - now they dont claim that anymore - why not? And take a look at the reviews for "Reviewcentre" at Reviewcentre - I am not alone in stating the unfairness of their system.

Actually I never said that I received that email from you!
You did however cause the emails to be sent by complaining to the Review Centre questioning negative reviews.
I can't see anywhere where I've contradicted myself, if fact I've tried to be helpful by providing factual reponses to your questions.
I hope other people do read these review comments so that they can see the tone of your responses and can judge for themselves whether to have any dealings with 7DayShop.
All I've experiences so far has been negative sarcasm and no attempt to put right the initial problems that I had when I attempted to purchase something from you.

Sorry but I am not sure how I am being negative or sarcastic. I have been only factual and understanding and do not see what is wrong with my "tone"? Once again I state that I am merely pointing out to people who might happen upon Reviewcentre that their system is clearly not a balanced view. 7dayshop gets under 45% and yet it scores nearly 100% on eBay, Amazon and eKomi - why is that please?

Ordered good from them when they did not arrive i emailed them, got no reply, emailed them again this time told them i was going to contact my credit card company, then got a reply from them, same old 4-7days delivery, again contacted them after this time, ohh sorry you will have to wait 15 days so we can put a claim in, its now well over that period and still no goods and they have my funds, defo would not use their service again regardless of the cheap cost, i would prefer to pay more and get a better customer service, which leaves a lot to be considered from 7day shop which dont have any customer service, maybe they need to be sent on a customer relations course ! my views!, after waiting about 3 weeks for my goods to arrive they sent new ones, would i deal with this company again in any capacity definitely "NOT" they are not customer friendly and do not show a lack of respect for their customers, to me that is the biggest problem i have, as i said above i would pay more for a better service and a better customer relations, maybe management should look at the staff they employ and send them on a customer relations course first, at the end of the day without customers a company cannot excise, this is one customer that wont be coming back to them, and would never recommend their services to any future customers.

Purchased 2 memory sticks just to save £2 over Amazon. No dispatch information sent and goods turn up after a week - as previously said, 7 day shop = 7 day wait!

Items were OK when they finally arrived, but I wish I had spent the extra £2 with Amazon, as I started getting Spam email directly from 7day shop, which could not be stopped with their 'unsubscibe' link.

I have just changed all my personal details to nonsense, with a 'slopsbox.com' email address to send their Spam into space. No more orders from me.
