Michael Jackson, Bad

This is a definate must for any Michael Jackson fan. For most people in their late 20's/early 30's this will prob have been their first exposure to the artist and many will remember bopping around to Smooth Criminal or Bad. Whilst the sound is no doubt dated now it is packed full of memorable and extremely entertaining songs. I have to disagree with the other reveiewer here and say that 'Man In the Mirror' is definately the pinnacle.

Any album containing songs on the level with 'Smooth Criminal' and 'The way you make me feel' is a gift; but these eleven songs (with the exception of the soppy Man in the Mirror) must make this album one of the finest ever produced. The 'good' tracks in Thriller are nothing short of sublime, but the remaining four are detrimental to the album as a whole. Bad is consistently strong; and features what may be the only good duet in Michael Jackson's career. Essential Jackson, ideal for almost any musical taste.
