I've had nothing but trouble with the Optronix motherboard. I had the local pc shop install it for me and he said that the board (my third one) was faulty. I purchased it directly but they didn't want to know when I asked for their advice. Now I've purchased from another manufacturer and installation went smoothly.
I've had other products from this manufacturer and all have been (in my opinion) of very low quality.I won't buy Optronix products again.

The Optronix OP-279AA-AL3 motherboard was very easy to install and although its not the cheapest board on the market the quality is excellent.
specs : 333FSB
DDR 400
ATA 133
USB 2
18 BIT, 6 CHANNEL 5.1 SURROUND SOUND
LAN ON BOARD
8X AGP
i currently use a mid range XP processor although i am upgrading to 3.0XP and foresee no problems and if there were, Optronix offer a 24/7 call center where i have spoken to engineers who helped me over the phone.
There were no problems with any third party devices added - infact the whole process was very easy, everything about this board is good.
