Liebherr KSV 3660 larder fridge.

We bought this fridge unit in 2003 because we wanted a larder fridge with a large capacity. The design is clean and practical. Capacity is excellent - this holds a lot of food and drink. Installation is simple, although it is quite large to move around. User instructions are good and operation is very straightforward. The door is strong and you can load it up without damaging hinges.

Downsides - the plastic boxes and trays for storing food are very fragile and we have broken or cracked almost all of them. We are not clumsy - they're not robust. The drain at the rear of the internal cavity that drains condensation to the evaporator gets blocked about every month or so. This causes the bottom of the fridge to fill with water, which is a messy nuisance to clear up. Finally, the spring in the door handle has just broken and I am now trying to find a dealer who can provide a replacement.

More recent versions may be better. I would check that the issues we have had have been addressed before buying another or recommending it.

Liebherr KSV 3660 - This fridge has changed our lives. Now we store everything in there, jams, white wines, beers, mineral water...Everything is always cool.
