My Husband And I Sailed On The Carnival Victory. T
My husband and I sailed on the Carnival Victory. This was our second cruise with Carnival and we really enjoyed the Canada/New England cruise. Our cruise date was 9/13/2008. The cabin stewards, entertainment and weather was fabulous. We could not have asked for anything better. We had a balcony cabin on the Verandah deck, and the view was great. Our cruise director was funny, courteous and seemed very determined to make sure everyone had a good time. We didn't spend a lot of time in the casino or get involved in a lot of contests, but it was fun watching. The food was o.k., but there could me a lot of improvement. As far as the buffet goes, they could use a little more variety, especially with the desserts. There was one incident that really made us sick when we went to the buffet for lunch. One of the kitchen helpers, carrying a tray of silverware, was picking his nose and he didn ' t seem to care who was looking at him. He kept this up even though I was looking right at him. It made us wonder what else went on with these kitchen workers. It was really disgusting. We didn't enjoy any of the food after that scene. The carnival victory is a nice little ship. It could stand improvements in the food line, but other than that incident, we had a good time.
