On Tuesday The Captain Of The Norwegian Dream Redu
On Tuesday the Captain of the Norwegian Dream reduced the A/C to gain more speed, he shut the entire A/C down for the ship. The temperature inside was intolerable. We went outside, to sleep in the rain for 8 hours. The Captain decided to repair the vessel for two days, chipping and banging above the Pizzeria, it was like being inside a barrel as someone beat on it. We had three days of a 7 day vacation ruined due to the lack of care from NCL staff. Not a great cruise but I guess you get what you pay for. The food was mediocre, lines were long and slow and entertainment was third rate.

After A Two And Half Hour Wait Just To Get On The
After a two and half hour wait just to get on the Norwegian Dream it was so disorganised by NCL to the point of us feeling ill from all the nonsense time waiting , freestyle dinning was awful not like other cruises we have been on, really impersonal, NCL advertise Las Vegas style evening shows that was a joke! Only one night was good with a Bollywood production. Everything else was more like holiday camp. The $10 per person per day automatic tips we asked to be taken off our final bill this is not compulsory we had everything put back and then gave our own tips to whoever we liked.

We Started Out As Having A Bad Time With Ncl Cruis
We started out as having a bad time with NCL Cruises. We flew into Houston Bush Airport the day before, and stayed in the Mariott until the next day. Then, we purchased transfers to the port. We waited for hours for a bus to come. Finally, when it came, it made a wrong turn and cost us 15 minutes extra driving time.
Once we arrived at port, we got onboard very quickly(20 mins) and were in our room. 8221 was an average sized room, one with a pullout sofa and 2 beds so all 3 of us could sleep comfortably. Once we were organized and the mustering drill was completed, we started out around the ship.
It was an OK conditioned ship, but it could have been better. The lounge's sofas were sticky and sometimes even felt wet. We stuck to the chairs. But the food we then had made up for everything, and we were all good once again.
Our room steward was hilarious, always left little towel animals. And out hostess for The Terraces restaurant got to know my by my first name and called me Mr. Andrew for the rest of the trip. Excellent!
Cozumel tendering was a pain, and it was not at all worth it. The locals are very aggressive with their selling styles.
Roatan was great, but the town is very poor and run down with lots of cops and guns everywhere. I suggest doing what we did and go to 'Fantasy Beach'. Its a resort where you can go snorkelling and just lie on the beach. Driving there we saw real wild baby iguanas! Cool.
Belize was awesome. Outside of the gates it was scary, but we took a bus to go cave tubing and that was beyond cool. Two thumbs up!
Our last two days were at sea and nothing special happened except we were all informed Cancun was cancelled and so we all got a 12.50 onboard credit. Whoopie. I thought that they could have done better.
The entertainment, mainly the dancers and singers were great. You do not want to miss out! I got a picture with the captain while he was walking along the deck. It was the first time I had seen him, because I missed the Captains Cocktail Party, so this way I got a free photo (Friend took picture) and it did not cost me 15USD or what ever the ridiculous price was.
Overall, I thought it was a pretty good cruise, and I am going on a Royal Caribbean Rhapsody of the Seas cruise in Jan. Pretty good job NCL!

This Was My First And Last Cruise With Ncl Cruises
This was my first and last cruise with NCL Cruises. We had a good time on the Norwegian Dream, only because we chose to despite the fact that our trip was seriously compromised by engine trouble that this company has been dealing with for months, even years. Instead of being true to their customers, they take the attitude that they cant help it, so we must accept the fact that we missed a port, had less time in ports, missed the whole inside passage, and docked 7 hours late. While they did help with hotel rooms for those who missed flights, those of us who had booked our own were just out of luck. Problems happen, just there has to be give on both sides. I feel this trip was worth maybe half of what I paid. Definitely a discount ship. No fun being stuck on this ship for days in a row. I feel that NCL has very poor business ethics.

I Cruised From Seattle On There 10 Day Cruise To A
I cruised from Seattle on there 10 day cruise to Alaska and back on the NCL Norwegian Dream. I thought it was a good cruise. I like lot of people read their reviews. Like a lot of trips, it's what you make of it. I would recommend it.
