I Bought The Car New In March 2008 In Doha, We Dro

I bought the car new in March 2008 in Doha, we drove it from Qatar to The Netherlands and recently took it to Tunisia, it has done 35000km by now and we never had a single problem with the car, not a surprice really because it consists for 50% of BMW parts I think, I assume that is the main reason that Landrover can offer a 5 years warranty scheme in all Middle east countries where the environment can be considered rough for cars due to very high temperatures up to 50deg C, very intensive sunlight and very dusty.

All in All I believe Rangerovers have left their bad name behind and can be considered as relieable as any other 4x4, that they love petrol should not be a discussion point since every other car of 2.5 tons weight will consume exactly the same amount.

The General Appeal Of A Range Rover Is Hard To Def

The general appeal of a Range Rover is hard to define. Yes the interior styling is excellent. The feel and stability of the car on the open road is magnificent. However it falls apart if they do not fix their reliability and build quality. 4 radiators a front end suspension, leaks broken hoses failed electrics and a new sunroof in three years + the myriad of other little things makes ownership a risk

The Range Rover 4.4 V8 Hse 4x4 Has Had A Few Probl

The Range Rover 4.4 V8 HSE 4x4 has had a few problems like a new steering column as the old one squeeked, had a new transfer box and a few recalls (campaigns as Range Rover now call them). None of these problems were of any major consequence though, the car still worked and I never got stranded at any time with them. Other than that, the car has been such a pleasure to own and drive. The only problem I have experianced with it is whenever you go to buy anything, the price goes up because you own a Range Rover. If only they knew how much it costs to run one!!!
