I got my self a new transit about 18 months back because I wanted something that would not let me down. How wrong was I, Been into for about 14 times with different things, seat went ( not covered on warranty they told me ) the latest thing down is we need a new gearbox, the van has only done 29000 miles . Please do not buy one ,the service from ford is very bad and they are always trying to get out of warranty. I wish I would of paid a bit more and got a merc.

I've come to this site because I can't be botherd surfing .
As far as the T350 Cab chasis is concerned, looks good but in 5 years three starter motors, 2 batteries and what sort of idiot designed the spared tyre behind the back mudguard and wheel, that you cannot get to on a good day, let alone where it is souposedly designed for German - English weather. The design of the so called multi tool, to lower the spare wheel with the aparatus we are provided with is a joke. The Ford Transit 350 LWB MR 125bhp looks good, drives well when it is going. After two years on the road you would be better off to trade it in for a Volkswagon.
