Louisa May Alcott, Little Women

Little Women by Louisa May Alcott is a brilliant read for all ages, mostly women and girls I'd say but I'm not trying to be sexist. If you are planning to read the hard classics or the Bronte sisters novels but have never read anything like it before, I'd really recommend this book as, in a way, it is an ease into classical reading.

I'd say it is a brilliant story to read to young children and to read as their reading level progresses.
