Never before has a horse's behavior been documented to such scrutiny. Ree presents a detailed analysis of horses, their interactions and their behaviours with each other. Based on the environmental stimuli on a horse, and the manner in which the horse reacts to them, Ree assesses the cognitive processes that take place in the horse's mind.

Lucy Rees, The Horse's Mind - This is the most useful book on horse behavior for instructors, trainers, or trail guides or anyone in the horse business. We use it all the time. This book is a classic and the only work that discusses a horse's behavior in terms that relate to horses and situations in the professional horse world. There are observations that have not been made by others from a perspective that is not in any other book.
