Short and simple facts: Property value £90000, the offer they made £75000, after 2 surveys they dropped offer to £61000. Final amount paid £60000, they held on to the last £1000 claiming it would take more than that to do up the property .... £30000 profit was obviously not enough for them so they took my last £1000 of me. A company of charlatans who take advantage of people in a desperate position. Impossible to get hold of Robbie du Toit when calling from my phone but he would pick up the phone when using a friend's phone. AVOID AVOID AVOID

I tried their service but got a very low offer and non stop calls after they realized I was desperate to sell. Recommend sticking to estate agents but at a reasonable and fair reduction of your house price! -Matt

It's interesting to see all these great reviews for this company but when you look at the people reviewing the company they are mostly all done in April so either its an April fool, a coincidence or the purchased 32 houses in a very short space of time. Even more interesting is the fact that all the people who reviewed the service have only even made one review on this website!

Hi,
It is disappointing to hear that you feel dissatisfied with our service - as we value all of our customers input I would like to provide a thorough response. Firstly, the value of any property can be a very sensitive issue as it often represents the value of somebody’s home – what we always try to help our customers understand however is that the real value of a property is simply what it can realistically be sold for over a sensible timeframe. As the market was very slow in your area our analysts felt nervous that the property would take a long time to sell and therefore there was added risk – unfortunately from our perspective this has come true and through taking a chance in buying your property and providing a solution for you we have not yet been able to resell your property – in fact the highest offer we have had is £70,000 which is of course way off the valuation of £90,000. With all the fees we have had to pay on your behalf we will therefore making very little if any profit. Secondly, we hold back a retention of £1,000 when we acquire any property as the speed in which we buy property is extremely quick, hence why it is a useful service, so we don’t get a chance to check that everything inside the property is ok. We were advised that there was damage inside the property after you left and that the radiators had been physically removed – we therefore spent almost £2,000 rectifying these issues so again this did not work in our favour. In the large majority of properties we buy, they are left in good condition and the full £1,000 is returned so this was a very unusual and disappointing situation from our point of view. Again I am sorry that you feel aggrieved and hope this explanation helps you see that our aim was and is always to provide a genuine, open and honest service.
