“Do not use them!!!”

We booked this company two weeks in advance and we emphasized to them Over and over again that we need th packing to start at 8am. 1.5 hours later and no one has turned up. We left messages at the office and no one returned our call. We finally managed to get through to the office and the lady was extremely rude. She would not accept the blame that they were to call us and inform us about the delay and kept saying it is our fault that the drivers cannot find parking! Using their gps she claimed the drivers were on our street. This kept going on for half an hour. Her response was that she cannot do anything about it and I just have to deal with it. Never use such unprofessional people!

“NEVER USE TOP REMOVALS”

I am almost in tears while I am typing this. There were 2 guys who showed up for the move (they were on time). One guy spoke extremely poor English and the other was silent. I asked the guy to be careful with my boxes and a particular suitcase because there were things that were fragile in them. To which he asked me "If you packed it well, it won't break". I confirmed that I was the one who packed all my stuff but I wanted him to be extra careful with those specific items. To which he didnt say anything and walked away. They were moving extremely slow--in 30 minutes and they had transferred 3 suitcases and 5 small boxes to the van. So we asked them if they could hurry up. The larger guy got angry and dropped the box he was holding and asked "Are you joking? Are you serious?" We told him that we had the cleaners coming in another hour and that we needed to hurry up. My husband was also helping them to hurry things up. To our utter shock and disbelief, he responded saying he is leaving and asked us to find another faster company. He just walked away, and we had to follow him downstairs as he didnt say anything about the stuff he'd already loaded. He hurried unloaded the suitcases and boxes on the pavement (literally throwing one box the ground despite "fragile" being written on it)!!! To add to all of this, he made a racist comment. I told him that he couldn't speak to us that way. He just drove away without saying anything back. We called up Top Removals reception (after 30 mins because we were still trying to come to terms with what happended) to bring this incident to their notice. The lady who answered teh phone told us that the guy told her that we were swearing at him and thats why he left the job!!! We told her that he was lying and what he had said wasn't true. We were being extremely polite during the whole episode. When we told the receptionist that the behavior of the driver was unprofessional and racist. She just said yea ok. We told her that we were going to write a review on them and she just laughed and again said ok. Thankfully, we managed to find another mover who was much more reasonably priced and very professional. Please don't belive any of the tall claims made on the website. These guys are far from professional. I sincerely hope that no one else has to go through this experience. There are so many other movers, PLEASE use anyone but Top Removals.

“Damaged Items and Refused To Compensate”

This was the third time I had used Top Removals in 2 years, and prior to this last occassion had been very happy with them the first two times (thus why I used them again). However, this time they damaged a chest of drawers to the point they were un-useable and put chips in my very expensive cot. I contacted them with photos of the damage and they said they would investigate. Over the next 6 months I emailed them in excess of 10 times, and after the initial response telling me they would investigate, I never heard from them again. So much for them having insurance and being an honest and reputable company. NEVER AGAIN.
