Delivery to the hotel was good but delivery agent did not speak English so difficult to complete formalities.
4.000,00 TL was supposed to be "reserved" on my CC in case shortfall in fuel on return or traffic infringements but was actually taken immediately costing extra foreign exchange costs.
The arrange ment with Economy Car Rentals was there was nothing extra to pay in case of accident or theft but had to pay extra for insurance on tyres.
Had a small accident when returning the car in Istanbul and despite many communications to Economy Car Rentals the deposit has not been refunded and 2 months have passed.
Will never use a broker or Sax Car Rentals again or recommend them to a friend (or enemy).

The car was delivered to our hotel, which was a nice touch except for the fact that the tank was empty - when we turned on the engine, the empty fuel warning light started to flash. So... first job, in a new car in a strange city was to find a place to fuel the vehicle.
Next problem, the Navking satnav system was totally useless. It couldn't get us 300 meters to the nearest major road. On our main trip it took us 220km out of our way and then, at 23.10 it stranded us up a dirt road before displaying "Application Error, System Shutdown."
The car itself was a Renault Fluence, which was abysmal. Soft unsupportive seats, useless headlights, wallowing suspension and pathetic brakes. Reminded me of a 1970s American barge.
So, nothing good to say about Sax Car Hire in Turkey. This would be a zero star review except that you can't choose zero stars.
I paid them cash at the airport, they claimed the car is fully insured, but they took another (super insurance coverage for 12 euros) I booked them thru economy car rentals, they also claimed that what I paid to economy car rentals was commission and not payment on account.
The fuel was below zero, barely made it to the gas station
the car smells smoke like hell
and the A/C was so weak,
I won't book thru them or that site again, nor recommend anyone to do it
