We booked with lastcheck.ie as it was the cheapest quote for the accommodation we wanted in Lanzarote. But when we arrived at the accommodation we were informed that they were fully booked and were moved to another accommodation in other side of town. We got no notice of this from lastcheck. We rang them, no answer and left a message for them to contact us asap. They never replied. We rang them again the next day - they blamed the hotel, we explained that we werent happy as we wanted to stay on other side of town and they said they would endeavour to move us and get back to us in 2 days. They never rang us back. Since coming back I have sent a complaint to their customer service department...a week later and no reply!!!

We were looking for a New Years eve break to the Costa Del Sol for 3 people ( single room & double and found this one on Last Check for the Rui Belplayer in Torrmelinos, on arrival we recieved a welcome drink after that we had a predinner cocktail before the new years eve celebrations then a excellent evening meal with as much wine soft drinks & beer you wanted afterwards there was a dance with all the party stuff like fancy hats etc.

The rooms were good clean same as the rest of the hotel and pool areas staff are excellent good value for your money thanks to Last Check and it works out cheaper than going to a hotel in this Country for say 3 nights when we had 7 nights in Torrmelinos plus we had fanastic weather for the time of the year around 22 to 25c and sunny all the time . nannygoatcorner

I origanally booked with Last Check a hotel in the middle of the town. I was travelling alone and wanted to be amongst people and close to restaurants and entertainment. I was phoned back a couple of hours later and told the hotel was fully booked and available was a 5* hotel the Sheritan Golf Spa Hotel or a 2*. I was unable to research the hotel so took the 5* having previously chosen a 4* all inclusive but this was bed and breakfast. The hotel had no entertainment for the first 4 nights and was 8 miles from the town.It cost 30 euros return to the town by cab.When the entertainment did arrive it was a guy with keyboards who when singing would forget the words and resort to La La instead. There was no atmosphere in the hotel the main bar was like having a drink in the library of a monastary. The intended hot food at breakfast was always cold. The hotel was generally in good repair and clean but the gym was alwys kept at 22 deg C....very warm. Hotel was mainly German occupied and couples oriented.Food in evening was generally excellent but buffet restaurant under staffed.So if you want a quiet holiday as a couple and you dont mind spending 5.25 euros for a coke by the pool it's perfect. If alone and looking for a bit of fun and company absolute nightmare...there is nothing to do

we have just returned from caleta dorada having read some of the review before we went i was a tiny bit apprehensive , should not have been everything was absolutely excellent,we had 2 weeks all inclusive different choice of food everyday which was all very nice,nice appartment spotlessly clean ,cleaned and new towels almost everyday,excellent friendly staff in the dining hall and poolside bar with good entertainment couldn't fault anything really, so anybody worried about going there don't be, if moaning people want a five star place they should go to one , this is after all a 3 star place ,nice square right by caleta dorada with some nice bars and in caleta de fuste town plent of bars and restaurants and nice beaches,would definatly go back to caleta dorada again

very happy with magic hotel group we were originally booked at the magic rock gardens but was moved due to refurbishments we ended up at the cristal park hotel and was very pleased with the hotel. reception staff were very pleasent and helpfull, the first room they allocated us was a bit small and in a courtyard facing a wall so we asked to move. they moved us to a really nice big room with flat screen tv with 3 english channels. the rooms were cleaned every day with towels changed daily. the food at the hotel was some of the best i have had i am a fussy eater when abroad but i never had to eat out once. the food was allways hot and varied with english food available such as cottage pie,roast beef and yorkshire puds.the deserts were lovelly and also had hot deserts as well. the waiters were all very polite and allways clearing tables. the bar staff at the hotel were also very friendly especially anita and trevor very hardworking. the entertainment at the hotel was very good downstairs in the magic cafe bar which is geared towards the english guests. they have a resident english duo in there playing some excellent quallity songs. the meatloaf act they do is a must see . overall this one of the best hotels we have stayed at all the staff were hardworking and polite and freindly even the hotel manager was allways around talking to the guests. we will be going back to the cristal park hotel and would recommend it to others.

me and my wife booked a great no a brilliant holiday to tenerife at lastcheck 10 days for price of 7 days and breakfast thrown in great flights great price great service and the staff on the ground and in air 10/10

Just returned from a great Christmas week at Dunas Mirador in Gran Canaria. I went all inclusive and was a bit worried about previous reviews. Check in was very efficient and the food was great.

The all inclusive program was great and I could get two drinks at a time and they were definitely not watered down.

The only complaint is the location away from the beach and Playa Del Ingles but most guests spent the majority of time at the hotel and never travelled and there is a free bus three times a day to the beach.

I will return as the price was great.

Fabulous 2 weeks all inclusive. Last check was best online price by far and it was everything other reviewers here and on tripadvisor have said. Food really good, staff excellent, really relaxing, great kids club which my 9 year old enjoyed, the mini disco was great fun for the kids and unlike some places the staff who ran it were really enthusiastic. As we were all inclusive we stayed in complex a lot but when I persuaded my boyfriend to venture out we had a fantastic day in El Cotillo which had 2 beautiful beaches and I would highly recommend it. There is a lovely shopping centre 10 mins walk which has music in the evening and had beautiful xmas decs up - very christmassy. There is a small shop for provisions and newspapers etc next to Flintstones bar which is before you get to shopping centre. Main town is 20 mins but we were happy with that anyway. All in all great fun and highly recommended.
