Dodgy start . First sales/measure up person left company without notifying us . Had no problems afterwards. Went to different showroom, got new salesperson. Changed my layout and style without any hiccups. 3D view shown . Drawn up plans were as specified.Arrived and fitted to schedule. Fitters we’re great and showed me how to take out drawers on my order 292474/73 . Jobs a good-un. Thank you .

Some difficulties such as the delivery date being pushed back a couple of weeks I believe due to CV19 issues but not explained properly and there was a part missing upon installation but nothing serious But my only gripe was the communication process, we got a call at 655am saying they would arrive in about 20 minutes Arriving so early caught us completely by surprise perhaps a call / text the previous evening That being said The installers did an absolutely first rate job

“Happy with new wardrobes - order number 244339”

Went to Bolton showroom and sales person/designer was very helpful. I received plenty of communication about final payment and fitting dates/times with option to change. fitting was confirmed for today 3/1/20. The fitters phoned me at 7am but I was still asleep. I had been told to expect them at 9-9.30am so I had set my alarm for 8am and they arrived whilst I was still in bed! However, the guys were friendly and happy to wait whilst I got sorted. Fitting was done fine, made easier by a couple of brews. A good job was done and I’m happy with my purchase. All fitted according to agreed plan. The only reason I haven’t given 5 stars is only because of the mix up in communication about arrival times and because the quality of clean up afterwards wasn’t quite to my standards.

“Fitting a kitchen”

My order number is 237015. While there has been a couple of problems with this kitchen there was nothing that cannot be put right. The kitchen fitters arrived at the time they stated they would be here and started work straight away, and they continued to work throughout the day until the job was completed. Any faults were noted for further action, at the end of the day they cleaned the place and left it the way they found it. These guys were great ambasadors for Starplan, well done Statplan.

“Good job”

We already had a section of Starplan wardrobes fitted and basically had them finish the job(Not there fault). The quality of the first fitting was excellent and the addition fitted in perfectly. The room is now complete and gives us plenty of wardrobe space. The fitters were quick and clean and did a great job. My only gripe was the price in that we had pre-existing carcasses in place and they were only replacing the doors. My fault however for not haggling. Would I recommend Starplan and the answer is yes but if you can negotiate I would definitely give it a go.

“Starplan bedroom wardrobe”

The fitters were professional. Rang me before they set off so I could plan my day. Looks very nice. I would have given it 5 stars but the designer missed an electric installation at the back of the old wardrobe which we got it removed. We did not notice it either. This needed electrician sorting it out before the fitters come in as they don’t do electrics. Those who use Starplan should ensure to remove all electrics or ensure designer is aware of this before the final design. The person I dealt with at Bolton was helpful. Thanks

“All well in the end!”

There was a mix up with the plans we had and the fitters had...we managed to solve it after a few calls and emails...as we ordered 2 rooms they finished the first one on the second day...the fitters service was excellent (not naming names as per instructions above but order number 199103) and the end result great! I love the furniture and the way it all looks and will definitely recommend starplan from beginning to end...even when there was a problem their customer service was on the ball and kept me updated and worked to solve the problem...only not 5 star due to these mix ups and the fact that there are small bits that need replacing...thanks very much anyway!

Our new wardrobe & other bedroom furniture was fitted today & I must say it is an excellent job,the 2 fellas that did the job arrived at a time that suited us & from the moment they got here till the moment they left they did a really thorough job,they were pleasant & courteous & worked away with no hassle,they also cleaned up after themselves which not alot of other workmen would do,I would gladly recommend Starplan to friends & family & would definately use them again,great job & service!!

“Wardrobe ”

I am extremely pleased with my wardrobe and bedside cabinets, however the previous day my wife had contacted the showroom to get an approximate time of arrival. It was established that the delivery wouldn't be until the afternoon. They were to contact my wife on arrival, but I received the call that they were there, and this was at approx 0900, well before the time stated. Unfortunately my wife was out so they were unable to deliver until later in the day. Lack of communication! It would also be good if the carpet in the room and the cupboard being built was cleaned afterwards. Not a big deal, but spent quite a bit of time cleaning afterwards and it would just add to a good quality service. The final point I'd like to make is that the stickers within the drawers in the bedside cabinets don't come off very easily, and when you do eventually get them removed, you've to spend quite a bit of time trying to remove the sticky residue. It would be helpful if these were removed before delivery. Overall a good service with a good quality piece of bedroom furniture. Order number - WB200750

“A star quality product ”

I had fully intended to purchase bedroom furniture from Starplan when I entered the store. I had visited the store previously and loved the look and quality of the furniture. I purchased what I wanted and it was delivered on day promised. I love this furniture! It is worth every penny and was very reasonably priced. The fitters were excellent they worked quickly and tidily. I would have rated 5 stars but I was disappointed in the sales person at one point I had to tell him to calm down. I don’t understand what his attitude was all about, he was however young and obviously inexperienced he was different however when sale was made! I just needed help from him with the measurements as I said I had fully intended to buy from Starplan but was nearly ready to walk out at one point however I did not want to let the young inexperienced salesman put me off. Before I made my purchase I should have asked for another salesperson someone who doesn’t judge a book by the cover or where they live.

The whole process from ordering to fitting was very easy. The staff were knowledgeable, helpful and offered good advice. Also very open to our suggestions and worked with us to achieve the result we wanted. As for fitting, great! The two fitters were clean and professional. Very pleased with the final result. The only niggle was that the delivery time was just the date, not a rough time of delivery but as StarPlan have a busy fitting schedule and may come across things that could slow the process of moving from one job to the next it was acceptable. Order number NF198285. We would definately recommend StarPlan.

I have free standing starplan furniture and I am moving shortly. I am extremely concerned that I will not be able to dismantle the wardrobes myself. They are very heavy, and I foresee difficulties getting them up and down stairs unless they're dismantled. If you could please advise.

We bought a fitted Starplan bedroom suite for our daughter and had to move the free standing StarPlan furniture out. My husband did not actually dismantle it, but managed to move it to another room with his brothers' help. There was no damage done to it and it now resides in our spare bedroom. The wardrobe was a double one with drawers in the middle. Hope this helps.

I purchased a King's size bed and mattress from Star Plan in Coleraine in April 2016. I had problems with the mattress i.e.bad back and not being able to sleep. I've turned the mattress and it feels like I'm lying on a sack of potatoes and not able to get up out of bed to after 3pm each day in misery. I visited the shop and was met with a negative/cross response that I should have turned the mattress every two weeks and I have wrecked it because of this. I had to have help from two other people to turn the mattress every time. The lady in the shop recommended the mattress and she knew about my condition. The shop told me someone would investigate the mattress in a couple of weeks time and I am left suffering. does anyone have any help as too what I should do next? The base was guaranteed for 10 years and the mattress 5 years. I was not told that the mattress was to be turned every 2 weeks and it is a heavy beast I could not physically do this. I am gutted and severely disappointed with this firms attitude.

I would need more information about the type of bed, the quality of the mattress and the base. I have a serious back chronic complaint and me King Koil never lets me down. The mattress gets turned when someone comes to visit who can help me. Before I can make judgement I need to know what type of bed and mattress you bought.

Best of luck. I had problem with 2nd rate fitted wardrobes. Not told at time that it was not wood. It is actually cheap planks with a plastic film all over. This is now peeling. I had same very bad service when ringing, very ignorant woman. Was a few months out of guarantee. She said "why have you rung if you know guarantee out of date". Was not cheap and would not have bought if known how it was made. We are pensioners and did not expect to have to renew or live with rubbish, it will be difficult to afford to replace. Cannot understand problems with beds as there were photos in store of vono beds which was a very old and well known bed manufacturer. Their customer service is the worst I have encountered, you cannot get past the bad mannered woman. On checking reviews I found we are ones of very many others who have had trouble with company and that woman. They give answers to complaints with possible solutions online but that flies out of the window when speaking with that woman.

I remember my daughter going to Starplan for a new bedroom about three years ago and they offered a 10 year guarantee then. Not too sure how long it was going before that.

Hi, I'm sure Starplan gave us an ultimatum before the fitting date that the entire room needed to be clear. In practive this is probably not required, but unless you do what they ask they will probably say they can't fit your furniture due to access and will leave your home with nothing being fitted.

Our Fitting teams are highly experienced and are instructed to treat your home and furnishings with respect. To avoid any possibility of damage to your property and provide the fitter with a safe working environment we request that the room where the furniture is to be fitted is completely emptied of your personal belongings, room dressings and furniture. Although every possible care is taken, due to the close fitting nature of fitted furniture some markings on walls, floorboards and ceilings may occur. The room is therefore best decorated after installation takes place.
