Midnight Over Sanctaphrax Is A Wonderfully Imagina
Midnight over sanctaphrax is a wonderfully imaginative book that will inspire all it's readers. Although I have as yet only read this book in the edge chronicles, I will almost certainly be reading the rest! I today purchased the Twig Chronicles, and will no doubt be devouring them soon.

Midnight Over Sanctaphrax Is The Third Book In The
Midnight Over Sanctaphrax is the third book in the Edge Chronicles Series by Paul Stewart and Chris Riddell. The series is about a fantasy land where academics occupy a floating city (Sanctaphrax) tethered above a mythical world of Sky Pirates, Undertowners and other fantastic creations of the authors imagination.
This book follows the adventure of a young Sky Pirate Captain called Twig as he searches for his lost crew and races against time to save his world.
I read this book with my son (8) and we raced to bed each night with eager anticipation of what was to happen next.
The authors have really let their imaginations run riot with some wonderfully imaginative scenes (such as the slave market that crawls across the surface of the world, leaving just a burnt out and empty place where it has sucked the life from where it stood). The book also features wonderful illustrations that really heighen the fantasy world.
All in all, heartily recommended for all kids, both small and not so small :-)
This review was kinda rubbishy. It didn't give enough details. I myself haven't read this specific book (yet), but I have read the first two in the series. By this I know enough about this book that is essential to tell other people about if you wish to persuade them to read it. It would be a sad event if they decided not to just because the review didn't sound interesting...very sad indeed.
