Very poor customer service. No updates provided as to status of order. No response to my chasing emails. I had to call (4 occasions) to obtain an update - was told I would be called back but never received a call, was then told a delivery date that never happened, was then told again I would be called back and again never received a call, and finally told the item has been discontinued!! No formal apology of compensation offered - hence very poor customer service

Bought a light fitting. Sent it back unused. They refused to reimburse any of the money. Said it was in wrong box and had been fitted. Yes it had been sent back in wrong box as had bought two fittings but it had not been fitted and was sent back in the same condition it was received. A waste of £133.00. Suggest you think twice before using this firm.

Have used these guys before and was pleased with results but I tend to go with lowest price so for a different lighting order went with directlighting2u.co.uk (part of Stockport Flooring) who were useless and never delivered the items. Spoke to Sanjay at lightingathome who told me the delivery timescales of the items and confirmed availability, was also honest enough to say that some items weren't in stock and would take several weeks to come in but that he could deliver the other items on the order straight away which was fantastic after the delays caused by directlighting2u.co.uk. These guys are great and I could highly recommend.
FYI ordered Massive Nero 3 Spot, Massive Nero 2 Spot and Cucina Parsley Twin Packs.

WOW !!! Service at its best. After a visit this morning to the Manchester showroom and the return home to check something we called the store this afternoon and purchased the required fitting. Not only is the fitting fantastic but the service from Mark has been truely outstanding. Mark went out of his way to ensure the unit was collected from the storage depot by another member of staff and taken home to be collected by him and delivered to my door by Mark the same evening. Guess you can say Mark really did go the extra mile !! THANK YOU

I ordered a pair of floodlights from Lighting At Home's website. On the web page they promised delivery of this item within 2-5 days. I took this to mean they could supply these lights within 2-5 days.
Silly me. Actually they did not have them and could not supply them at all.
Do not believe what you see on this website. It is functionally useless. Just because a light is on their website and they promise to deliver it does not mean they actually can fulfill any order you make.
Do not give them your credit card details without calling to check stock. In fact, why use the website at all?

I recently purchased a new light fitting from Lighting at Home and I was very impressed with the level of service and knowledge provided by Sanjay and Mark. I called the store a few times to check that they had the product in stock and also that the light fitting I was looking to purchase was suitable for my room, the guys had a great insight into their products and my product arrived within a week of placing the order. Great service, fast delivery and very the team are very helpful.

This Customer Placed His Order '14/04/2011 14:30:30'.
<br/>
<br/>We state 'Availability: Normally Delivered Within 2-5 Days' and 'NO Payments will be taken until your goods are ready to be dispatched, this also includes PayPal.'<br/>
<br/>How the words 'Normally Delivery' can be read into 'Promise' is beyond me.
<br/>
<br/>Our Sales Team, called the customer directly the following morning to advise, that ourself and the manufacturer where currently both out of stock, and wouldn't be able to supply at the present time, and agreed to cancel the order. '15/04/2011 09:48:19'<br/>
<br/>So if by not taking any funds upfront and advising this customer that we couldn't supply within 24 hours, how this warrants bad feedback is beyond comprehension.
