We purchased a machine in Feb 2014 and it cost £1000. It blew up in Novenber and after much hassle Currys changed it. Guess what it's broke again in March 2015. We took out 5 year warranty thankfully. Curry refused to change it this time and say Delonghi will repair it. I really don't want it repaired or not ! Any more but Currys were little or no help at all. Delonghi are rubbish their customer service is non existant and these expensive coffee machines are not fit for purpose. I will never buy Delonghi products again.

You must have been unlucky. I have had mine for 5 years, only one problem and Di longhi fixed that collected and returned the machine. We love ours.
