Poor Customer Service

I have seen new dyson hoover for good price with electronic empire. When I rang them & asked why it is cheaper then Asda/Tesco/Argos(£199.99) They said we are high st retailers and offer competitive prices. Electronic empire price was £169.00.

I asked if products has full 5 yr warranty they said yes.

I paid the item, it arrived next day in home made box with dyson picture glued to it.

Surprisingly item was used full of human hair & dust when I phone them to ask why they sent used item and not clarify it when I asked over the phone about price difference.

There was no 5 yr warranty.

Instead of any apology they asked me return the item by courier and pay the cost if I want refund.

Also asking has I used the dirty used item... Please be very careful from this dishonest trader.

I have to go in person to return the item as there was no trust they could say I used there item if I sent it via courier.

Very shocking experience

Rogue Trader

Ordered a samsung ex display supposedly in perfect condition smart 32 inch led tv. Ordered online and despite being informed it would come next day it only arrived 8 dsys later. That involved my first two ignored emails. Finally phoned and spoke to someone who could not have cared less and told me they did not deliver to Scotland. Surprise surprise it arrived next day to Scotland . Unfortunately it arrived damaged. I called and was told to email pix which I did. I also emailed another twice inquiring about returns method and costs. I specifically asked for confirmation that return costs would be refunded. No reply. I reverted to phone and got same impatient and unhelpful staff member assuring me that they would refund costs. So £26.60 later..... Three weeks later...... 5 emails later ..... 2 more calls with mr I could not care less and still no postage costs refunded ...... The item cost was refunded two days later but if I ever see the postage costs I will be very surprised..... Absolutely dire service, dishonest, unreliable and rude ... Steer very clear .

Poor Customer Service!

Returned LCD tv/dvd as faulty. Would play dvd intermittent with freezing, chip in screen and set did not sit upright, but leant forward. Returned at a cost of £16 postage which would be returned if goods found to be faulty. Received a replacement with no issues within 3 days. When trying to organise postage refund, emails have been ignored and a few replies saying the goods weren't faulty. Complete breach of DSR but have now given up...very poor as I was a repeat customer.

I Bought A Microwave That Was Badly Damaged, Meani

I bought a microwave that was badly damaged, meaning the door would not shut properly, therefore, emitting radiation when used! They do not respond to emails, or admit any fault, and are in breach of the Sale of Goods Act, which states a seller should pay for return postage costs of faulty goods but they are refusing to reimburse these. I am now out of pocket with nothing to show for it. They even had my previous review removed and I wonder if this is the first time they've done that. Disgraceful behaviour from this company and one of the worst I have ever dealt with. Definitely not recommended.

Samsung Sound Bar Hwf551

I just purchased a samsung hwf551 sound bar from electronic empire it was £139 cheaper than currys so you can imagine I was sceptical. I ordered it with fingers crossed on the internet and it arrived 2 days later by courier I unpacked it set it up in 10mins absolutely brilliant. I would totally recommend this company for the impeccable service and money that you can save. I know I will thanks from a happy customer.

No Refunded Postage

I ordered a DVD Recorder from Electronic Empire which was stated as being multiregion. Not only was it not multiregion but when in freeview mode it had a green line down my TV screen. I called up and told them about the problem and said I would be sending it back. They said that they would not cover the courier - they only do so if it is an exchange. I couldn't exchange it as they did not have stock. So if you buy from them, be prepared to have to fork out £18.12 on postage back and not get it refunded should the item be faulty/not as described. Also, over the course of this purchase I sent them emails and they didn't respond to ANY (even though I sent them to all 4 email addresses).

They may be fine to use if your item works/is as described but if not, BE WARNED!

Purchased Panasonic Hdd Recorder

I was concerned that the price was £31 lower than amazon, and having never heard of Electronic Empire before I was very dubious about purchasing from them. However feeling slightly more reassured after having read some reviews about the company I decided to order from them.

I placed the order Friday afternoon, I then received all the normal emails confirming order processing details. A nice touch was also the reassuring text message advising the delivery date of Monday. Then on Monday morning I received another text providing a one hour time period during which it would be delivered (with options for me to text back to change the date if stipulated time was no longer suitable.

The HDD recorder arrived during the specified time. All plugged in and tested and so far it seems to be working perfectly.

I would definitely use this company again if they remain competitively priced and based on my experience i would recommend them to friends and family.

Bad Bad Customer Service

I ordered a blu-ray player on wednesday evening for delievry on Thursday. When it has not arrived I phoned them and got told it had definitely gone out on Wednesday for delivery on Thursday ( there promised 24 hour window). I was then given the courier's phone number to find out what had happened. I phoned the courier - both local to me ( no record ) and the head office and 20 mins later they tell me they have no record of it either.

So I call back ELECTRONICEMPIRE again and NOW they say that in FACT it had not been sent out on Wednesday but was being sent out today and it was the couriers fault - I argued and asked for some compensation etc - NADA.

They did not explain why they had told me it went out on Tuesday either.

I do not trust them . . . very poor and bad experience.

I Found Electronic Empire On A Google Comparison S

I found electronic empire on a google comparison site and they had the best price so I decided to go with them instead of there competitors the site was very easy and user freindley and very easily laid out. Delivery took two days which is not to bad I will be telling my nan to choose her DVD recorder from them as I had no problems thanks again
