I like G-SPEED products, they're stable and reliable and needing one in a hurry, returned to CVP who I've bought for in the past. I received an email from the admin team advising me that the order couldn't be despatched on the next day by 13.00 delivery I requested, then another a short while later telling me it could. The next day, croaking for space with a live edit on the go, I rang to ask where the drive was at 13.05 and was told due to where I live (an hour north of Glasgow or Edinburgh, so not exactly the Highlands!) they would deliver same day but by close of play. The next day when I rang to say the drive hadn't arrived, I was told it would arrive within a couple of days. I asked if the premium delivery charge of £50 could be refunded after receiving a few platitudes and the attitude at the end of the phone changed sharply, "Oh, I see, you want a refund" I was told and sent a self tracking link to UPS who were holding the item in Dundee - about another hour north of where I live. The drive arrived within 2 working days, and I was left feeling like an inconvenience, not a customer. All in all, good product, bad service and bad attitude when something went wrong - shame.

The ONLY issue I have wth CVP are the postage / shipping costs. On a single battery I had to pay £28.95 for postage within the U.K. .. I live in N.Ire where the Post Office and all other U.K. courriers operate and it is just day light robbery to charge shuch a feww for a small item.

To date, I have purchased all of my Video related equipment here... That said, there are one or two suggestions I would like to make to those at CVP... First, for those who pay up front, some reassurance that credit cards will not be billed until the goods are shipped would be welcome... perhaps this the company policy but if it is, it is not obvious.. Second, if a commitment is given to match a price, stick to it! These two points aside, I have always found the crew at CVP courteous and helpful.. If (as I fervently hope!) my fledgling videography business grows, I am more than happy to talk to CVP first when it comes to making further investments...

Melissa in customer support was amazing, although TNT screwed up the delivery date of my package.
