Tritton AX 180

The lower mid range Tritton gaming headset is the very bold AX 180. These headphones have amazing bass but suffer slightly from a woolly treble. They have very good sound isolation everything around you seems to disappear which is amazing considering they do not have noise cancelling. Extremely comfortable with the leather padded headband and ear cups. your ears fit loosely inside the cups, thanks to the shape of them, though they still have a feeling of overall security. when there is no sound through the headphones on the 360 there is quite a buzz which will get rather annoying. The clip on mic is extremely sturdy, supported by metal but still hugely flexible and easy to clip on. Headphones look fantastic. The wires can get in a huge tangle sometimes so if you are an extremely tidy person these are perhaps not for you. If you are going to use these purely for gaming then these are a very good purchase but if you also use them for music, i would buy a pair of cheaper Sennheiser regular headphones instead or as well as these as you are not likely to be fully satisfied with the overall sound quality. also be warned it is powered by usb so if there is no usb socket you cant use them. Also a big annoyance is that if you use a hdmi cable and you are using an xbox 360 then you need to separately buy a HD audio dongle, some xboxs come with it while others don't.
