The website misled me to believe this was a garage staffed with several skilled and experienced staff.

However, when I visited there was only one member of staff present. The same bloke answered the phone, manned reception, swept the floor and was also the mechanic - I was paying for his time in every role. As I saw it Technical Car Services was just a one man band.

For 4.5 hours of diagnostics and 40 minutes labour to repair air conditiong on a £1500 motor I was billed £484 pounds. When I asked, I was not given an estimate, nor was I told the hourly rate.

When I pointed out the car was only worth £1500, Man Friday said, "I fix cars, I don't know what they're worth.", ridiculous! I feel done conned.

In my opinion this invoice is an embarrassing inditement of inefficiency, I certainly wouldn't recommend this garage to anyone else.
