“Mallorca transfer”

★★★☆☆

written by rosheeva on 29/06/2016

Everything went smoothly with both outgoing and return transfers, prompt and friendly drivers, clean coach, no problems. My one complaint would be the amount of stops and therefore the transfer time. We went to Calas de Mallorca and the coach went to Cala D'or both ways driving round and round picking up and dropping individuals off at lots of different hotels. Next time I will either book closer to the airport and taxi or a transfer that guarantees only a few stops as it took ages and my daughter felt quite travel sick by the end of the journey. We landed at 9:30 and didn't arrive at the hotel for over 3 hours and, on the return, were picked up at 01:50 for a 7 am flight. Needless to say we didn't miss it hahaha.

“Not a good experience in Morocco”

★★★☆☆

written by inDalton87 on 15/06/2016

Arrived in Morocco airport, no sign was being held up with our names as advised. Not clear who the operator was to find out where the transfer is. Finally made contact and had to wait 30 minutes for the driver to arrive. Once we were on the road there was no problems. Drivers were good in both directions even with a 4am pick up for the return. Not sure if I would use this service again for Morocco.

“Punctual, but dangerous!”

★★★☆☆

written by mfDavis25 on 25/11/2015

On arrival at Las Palmas, our car was ready and waiting and left for our hotel in Peurto Rico as soon as we had loaded our luggage. So all very good so far. However, the driver spent practically the whole 30 minute journey on his mobile phone either dialing or TEXTING!He was not paying full attention to his driving or to the traffic. Very dangerous! No tip! The return pick-up was punctual, driver was helpful with luggage, full attention on his driving. Very good.

“The company who provided the transfers from gran...”

★★★☆☆

written by McGee240 on 16/11/2015

The company who provided the transfers from gran canaria airport seemed a little inexperienced. Whilst there were only us and one other couple on the very modern mini bus, the driver became hopelessly lost in playa del ingles the first drop off and we spent around half an hour going around in circles . The return journey was a nightmare, the bus arrived more or less on time. There was one couple already on board and he told us there was one more pick up. He then said something about puerto morgan the next resort over. It then transpired that the couple already on board were arriving from the airport and being dropped off. At this stage our check in desk at the airport had already opened and we were still approximately 40 minutes from the airport. The driver apologised and said that he would drive as fast as he could. We made it just in time and were last too check in. Needless to say the rush caused much anxiety and stress. It also highlighted to us concerns as to who is liable if you miss your flight. Whilst I would use click transfers again. I think that I would probably book a taxi for the return journey to the airport.

“Small Issues but OK in the end”

★★★☆☆

written by clare128 on 11/11/2015

We did 2 return transfers via Click on the same holiday. On both occasions we started from and returned to the airport in Fuerteventura (we were going to 2 hotels in different locations) and they used the main transfer company on Fuerteventura which is Maxorata so we didn't think there would be any issues. However, on neither occasion did the staff in the office at the airport have our transfer on their "list" and it had to be confirmed by telephoning the Fuerteventura agent's office to check the validity of our vouchers. On the second occasion this was fine and they were friendly whilst doing this. But on the first occasion (our initial arrival at the airport) they refused to do this, telling us to "go away as they didn't have a booking" and "telephone the number". I refused as I had the confirmation voucher in my hand and eventually they agreed to make the phone call on my behalf and everything was sorted out. They were, however, extremely rude as if it was my fault, wouldn't tell me what was going on after their phone call i.e. whether the transfer was agreed, and then seemed very abrupt and unapologetic when it was sorted and a driver appeared to take us. That said, we didn't wait long after the issues were sorted, the drivers we had were both very good and the return transfers to the airport went smoothly and easily on both occasions. If we hadn't had the initial scare, I would use them again. However, there needs to be better communication re the bookings from the airport and therefore I won't be making another reservation. One other negative is that you have to phone to confirm your return transfer (they don't send emails/faxes like most other companies) so bear in mind if looking at cost differentials that this costs you £1 each time in addition to your transfer charge.

“I have had better service”

★★★☆☆

written by Rickjg on 08/11/2015

Car arrived at Antalya airport 65 minutes late. There was a problem in Turkey over the clocks being put back but carrier should have checked online when my aircraft was landing. Basic old car when he arrived and taken to the wrong hotel after trying to avoid a major sporting event in Belek. Much better service for the return. Car arrived on time and an easy comfortable transfer back.

“Great Prices, sadly return transfers too much time”

★★★☆☆

written by cojoba on 25/10/2015

I always use Click Transfers for my shuttles in Lanzarote as they tend to be the cheapest and they are local to where I live. I was however disappointed on this occasion. The transfer going out is ok generally with not to much hanging around, although the drivers sometimes wait for other flights, which can be annoying up to 1 hour. Some passengers arrive late and it transpires they have stopped to smoke, get a drink or other things after collecting their baggage. I think Click transfers should make it very clear in bold print to people when booking that if they have a shared shuttle they must collect their luggage and go straight to bus, not hang around smoking, having a drink or food which delays other passengers. Also my return transfer flight was 8pm and as my hotel is 15 minutes from airport and I was the last pick up I would have expected to be collected around 5.45 or 6pm, but instead I was collected at 4.45pm! which was nonn negotiable. I arrived at the airport far too early and check out desks were not even open! I could have therefore enjoyed a further hour or so in the hotel.

written by JohnandChristine on 12/10/2015

Transfer from Malaga airport was fine on mini bus as booked. However return to airport was worrying as we were picked up om large coach and after further pick ups we did not get to the airport until 90 minutes before our flight time and as we were one of the last to check in we were not able to get seats together. In view of this we feel we should have been picked up earlier. It is good that you request feedback to improve your service. We have used your service in the past and everything has been good at a very competitive price.

“Cheap but not amazing”

★★★☆☆

written by on 04/10/2015

The desk / pick up point at Arrecife was closed / abandoned and we had to rely on the kindness of other operators to tell us which bus was ours - not a great start. On arriving in Playa Blanca our hotel was the closest to the central roundabout but instead of turning right to it the bus turned left and dropped off at a number of hotels before finally going back and dropping us. The return journey was much better, faster and in a better vehicle. The service is however ridiculously cheap so as long as you aren't in a massive hurry then its a good deal.

“Arrival Poor - Departure Excellent”

★★★☆☆

written by lonelytraveller999 on 30/08/2015

This was my first time booking a pick-up at the airport with Click transfers and the booking itself was very easy to do myself outwith a package via a third party. Probably not the best experience on arrival at Tenerife North Airport as my luggage went missing so I was delayed leaving the arrivals hall and the person who should have been waiting had left. I was at this point extremely upset and the person on the desk just informed me that it was my fault as I should have left arrivals to meet my transfer on time. I tried to explain that I had to list my bags had gone missing and I was not sure how I could then get to my hotel which was nearly an hours drive away. Her response was, its your fault, you will need to find another way to get there. No advice on a bus a taxi, nothing. Very disappointing, I was on my own and it would have been nice just to have a friendly face to help. Very poor customer service on arrival and it would make me think twice about using the company again. I called the day before I left to make sure I would still be collected for my departure and was advised there was nothing on the system. The lady was very helpful and looked back at my arrival booking and ensured me that I would be collected and I have never been so pleased to see the driver who was on time and very helpful. Redeemed the company somewhat but they should consider the difficulties someone does face on arrival in future. My star rating for this review is based on my return journey only.

Great transport : Had booked a private transfer so we would get there without all the other drop offs and what we got was great- we travelled in a large, what seemed like an executive bus, which we hadn't booked, with huge comfy seats and mood lighting! Fantastic! On the return we had a small car, very crammed for a family of four so it was from one extreme to the other. Driver on the return was a bit of a speed freak but so is everyone in turkey!

“Smooth transfer but telephone confirmation could be...”

★★★☆☆

written by LyndseySone on 15/05/2015

Booking the transfer was very easy and Click Transfers were very helpful when I needed to amend the booking, a new confirmation e-mail was sent out immediately with the changes required. Finding the coach at the airport and then the pick up was also very easy and quick, the coach was basic and done the job. However, the only issue we really experienced was having to contact the local office as advised on the confirmation e-mail, we followed the instructions to contact the office 24hrs before both picks up. Unfortunately the staff in the office were extremely hard to speak with as they spoke very little, unclear English. This made confirming times and bookings with them difficult and didn't leave us feeling very confident that everything was in place. I appreciate that they are based in Spain and I do speak some Spanish, however, it was a very difficult conversation fully understanding the staff. I would suggest that the telephone confirmations are done with someone in a UK office who can then liaise on the customers behalf with the local offices. Calling European telephone numbers when in the UK isn't ideal either.

Used them in Fuerteventura and found them safe and reliable. Return journey to airport was 100% good, early and not too many pick-ups. Arrival journey not quite so easy as they didn't seem to have the appropriate record of our booking and receptionist was initially unhelpful. After insistence from me, showing them a copy of the booking, a phone call from them to "somewhere", it was all sorted and transfer was easy thereafter.

I have used this company in Rhodes and Malaga. Both locations have been very reliable and extremely safe. In Rhodes our driver had bottled water waiting for us and wheeled our cases into the hotel reception for us. On our return the driver was waiting well before our collection time. In Spain we had a shuttle bus, very comfortable and arrived at a he resort safely. On our return to the airport, our driver arrived on a coach empty and drove us back to Malaga in no time. I have again booked in June and have no hesitations to recommend this company for a reliability at a low cost.

Click transfers are a broker for the location where you are travelling. I have used them a couple of times (out and return to airport) and the local agent was both reliable and safe. They are extremely competitive on price and I will certainly use them again subject to them remaining competitive.

100% reliable. I have had no problem with the local suppliers who they use to do the transfers. In fact exactly the opposite. One time there was a "blockade" by taxi drivers and they kept me fully informed and when it was called off at the last moment I got a call from them. Another time I had booked a return on the wrong date - it was just taken care of. Use with confidence.

They're really just like an agency who liaise with a taxi company that, through their own experience they have found to be reliable. I only used them the once and there was a bit of a hiccup. They must have had a problem with the Taxis they'd been using as they contacted me to let me know there was a change to my transfer. This caused a bit of a panic as we were only days away from our trip and part of the process is that I had to print off a voucher which had to be presented to the Taxi driver. The trouble was that they didn't send the email containing the attachment with the voucher. I then had to spend some time trying to sort this out. In the end everything went very well. The taxi was dead on time, the driver was great and the car was a very luxurious Mercedes. So overall I would say they are reliable and safe. One bit of advice: on your return give the Taxi company a phone call the day before your flight to make sure they are definitely going to collect you at the correct time. Note - DON'T ring click transfer, ring the Taxi Company.

I have used ClickTransfers for a few years now. It's not them that carry out the work, but suppliers from each airport/country. I have only ever had one bad experience with them and that was when there was a mix-up with the booking, but within 10 mins it was sorted and we were on our way. I've always found the transfer vehicles to be clean, good condition and friendly helpful drivers. Hope this helps!"

I would suggest phoning them, they are very helpful. if its a private transfer they should accomodate you.
Report this content rustysul Written on: 14/10/2014
You don't have to! If it's a private transfer its up to you what time you get picked up,just contact click transfers and advise them of your desired pick up time. But remember if you get delayed on route and miss your flight it's down to you,so don't cut it to fine. Denis
Report this content alan_davies69 Written on: 14/10/2014
I agree with rustysul's answer below. Although I suspect the default position Clicktransfers (and I suspect any other similar operator) will take is to allow the airline standard recommended arrival at check-in (2 hours before departure), plus the journey time, plus some contingency (half an hour not unreasonable). You can then see how the three hour in advance pick up happens. Also, as many holiday airports can be extremely crowded, I've found that timing your arrival at check in half an hour before all the tour operator coaches arrive does reduce queueing time at check in, which is a boon in itself. Personally I don't like queueing for ages or the stress of leaving things until late going through check in and security at an unfamiliar airport, but appreciate that wouldn't be everyone's view. Travelling home after a holiday is always a bit of a drag, but dodging queues actually makes it less stressful to me than waiting around in a hotel.
Report this content BrendaLoughnane Written on: 14/10/2014
I agree with them and cannot add more than as it's a private transfer you can choose yourself the time you get collected. Also, near in mind that sometimes there could be traffic or other delays and with international flights it's better to be safe than sorry.
Report this content JeanParsons Written on: 14/10/2014
I did not book a private transfer so I cannot really reply to your question, however you should remember that check in for most airlines typically open two hours before flight times so I would rather be too early than too late. If you are late for whatever reason it is your responsibility.
Report this content debbiecampbell Written on: 14/10/2014
It does sound a long time i know, i have been in this situation on many occasions. On one occasion i decided that i didn't want to get there 3 hours before, so i caught the train to the airport.Never again,i didn't leave myself enough time,it took longer than expected, the departures was further away from the train station than the arrivals and i ended up racing around the airport panicking and i just about got to the gate with a minute to spare before it closed and made myself ill in the process. So needless to say i would rather be there early. If the transfer picked you up an hour later and there was an accident or traffic jam and you missed your flight that would not be good business parctice, so they cover their rrrrs so to speak.

Missing my transfer to the villa. Had to book into a hotel for the night. I must say if I had known that was going to happen I would not have booked it. Anyone else experienced this?

Personally, I always opt for a private transfer as using shared transport carries the risk of further delays. Yes, there is extra expense, but it is compensated for by the lack of delay and stress. I always consider these things in terms of the incremental cost against the whole cost of the trip - usually the difference in cost is very small in percentage terms.

Personally Ive always just jumped on the coach waited maybe 15mins then away we go. But sometimes there will be 1 or 2 people who dont get this luxury. I would tho recommend using them again, for the price we pay we dont expect door to door limo service. Hope this helps
Report this content BrendaLoughnane Written on: 17/06/2014
I understand your upset about this delay, but when using these companies they do need to get as many bodies on the coach to make it financially viable to them. In future you could check with the company picking you up if they are waiting on other flights and then you could make the decision to take the private transfer rather than the coach to avoid delays. Any contact I have had they have always been very helpful. I also don't think 45 minutes is long to wait, anything up to an hour is quite normal and reasonable. I don't think they usually depart immediately after flights in case of delays, etc.

Hello, I have used Click Transfers on a couple of occassions, as do my parents, and to be honest I have found that the waiting times seem long, despite where I travel. It is very frustrating particualrly if you are on a evening flight and by the time you get to the hotel, the restaurant has closed. With another company I also use, albeit more expensive, they will ensure they do not hang around for other flights, particularly if it is evening or it is a short shuttle time. I wish click transfers did the same. Another company also took me once to my hotel by taxi as I complained whilst there that I had been waiting over 40 minutes. That is good service. Having said that I did complain to click transfers on one occassion and got fully refunded which is also good. In click transfers terms and conditions though it does state the following:- The maximum waiting time for shared shuttle transport is one hour from locating the supplier representative after claiming baggage. Complaints about waiting for less than one hour will not be considered by them.

I presume you have tried the email address and phone number on your confirmation? If you are having no luck with this, you could try phoning the local agent listed on your booking - if it is just a different hotel in the same resort, you can probably just arrange the change of destination directly with them. Good luck!
