I ordered some thistle themed wedding favours I was told this would be delivered nearest to the time of the wedding due to the perishable contents.

Four days before I was due to leave for the wedding they had not arrived and when I chased as I was told they had been sent five days previously, sent a copy of the post office receipt and basically told to chase it myself! This caused me a great deal of stress - simply posting item does not guarantee that it will be delivered and I had clearly not received the item. Neither had I received a notification that the items had been dispatched so that I could watch out for it.

As I would’ve expected the company to know, it is the legal obligation of the seller to ensure safe and timely delivery to the buyer, not the other way round.

When I raised this and also when I tried to email and phone the company the next day, they ignored all of my contact.

At this stage, I had no alternative but to order component parts to make my own wedding favours, which cost me far in excess of the amount that I had already spent. Again, when I explained this to the company, there was no reaction.

After all of this, when I returned home that evening and the ordered items had finally arrived. Despite the fact that the company would have received notification of this once again, they have yet to make contact with me.

Aside from all the stress, I am now left out of pocket given that not all of component parts I have ordered to make my own flavours can be returned for example, the perishable sweet items.

Awful service from beginning to end. Regardless of the quality of the finished items, the whole experience has tarnished by a complete lack of customer contact and care.

Rainbow Sugarcraft made our wedding cake for our wedding in October 2014. It was in the Happily Ever After style. It was absolutely stunning and all our guests commented on how fabulous it was! It tasted amazing too, we had 6 flavours, irn bru, lemon vodka, chocolate baileys, carrot cake, toffee and vanilla.

Mandi and her team were a delight to deal with and would always promptly responded with any questions we had.

I would highly recommended them!

We were having a small family wedding but the one thing my foodie future hubby did not want to scrimp on was a great tasting cake. We found rainbow sugarcraft on google and I fell in love with a cake with edible figurines that looked very similar to my fiancé and I. Mandi was great with email enquiries and always got back in touch very promptly. She sought out so many details for the cake including asking to see my dress or picture similar and the dress detail on the figure of me was extraordinary!

The cake was delivered with no issues the day of our wedding, I wasn't in but my husband said the person who delivered the cake was really efficient and polite. Guests loved the cake and couldn't believe the detail on our three little boy figures and also the tartan. We opted for chocolate and ginger and the cake was delicious and my husband thought the ginger cake was one of the best we'd ever tasted.

A brilliant family run and personable company that takes great pride in their cakes and business. Can't recommend enough.

Can't thank Mandi and team enough for the truly magnificent Scottish/Polish artistic cookies supplied for my daughter's wedding favours. The guests only made good comments on their originality and taste!! The service we received was first class and I would not hesitate to recommend this company to anyone.

Having organised a cake for my mum's 70th birthday via email. I was stunned at how Mandi and the team managed to create exactly what I wanted. As my mum has been a Scout Leader for many years, I wanted something to represent some of the funny memories that she holds, such as the charity sausage sizzle where a dog ate the sausages! The attention to detail was breathtaking even down to the set of false teeth....don't ask. The cake itself tasted delicious. It was delivered direct to the hotel we were holding the celebration at, which made life easier for me on the day. I would highly recommend Rainbow Sugarcraft, excellent service and a super duper special birthday cake for my mum.

What can I say! Every moment with Rainbow Sugarcraft was wonderful - from the scrumptious tasting session and the discussion of our design ideas with Mandi and David to seeing the finished cake on our wedding day! The cake was absolutely exquisite and our guests were so impressed by it. We could not recommend Rainbow Sugarcraft highly enough - they are true experts and very friendly people. 100% recommended!

My Wife and I owe Rainbow Sugarcraft a big thankyou for making and delivering our amazing wedding cake. Not only did it look beautiful it tasted great! Every guest enjoyed it and when they saw the sword we ordered to cut the cake it was a great talking point and great for pictures! They were really helpful and they made my cake look even more wonderful than I hoped. They delivered and set the cake up exactly as I'd requested and everyone said it was stunning.
