PriceWatcher.beyondtheway.com is a new Canadian price comparison engine. Unlike other price comparison sites, it works by running it's own crawler through merchants' websites to collect pricing information.

What I liked about this site is that it's search options are quite strong and easy to use. You don't really have to look where the search options are, it is right at the beginning of each page, yet not eating up a lot of space.

There is another thing that I liked a lot. Other price comparison sites sort of force you to stay at their sites even if you don't really have to. http://pricewatcher.beyondtheway.com/ gives the links to the merchant's product page with each product row, thus you get to the real staff fast.

This site so far has only 8-10 merchants' products listed on the site, I guess they will be adding more gradually.

I would say that this website is pretty simple to use, and excludes any unnecessary browsing through many pages. I am a technical person and I prefer direct to the point, and this is what the site offered.

I hope they will be continuously adding more and more merchants and will include more products other than electronics as well.
