Brackenwood property services is totally unreliable, dont reply to emails or letters. Badly run family company and equally unreliable staff. The fast turnover in staff alone is a warning sign to stay clear if you want value for money and openness where accounts are concerned dont go near this company unless you want to throw money away.

Over the 16 years our apartment has been managed by BPMS, the performance of the Covenant agreed to by owners and management company has been contentious: owners have failed to hold regular annual meetings, especially in the past four or five years, and frequent changes of personnel at the agency have led to poor response times, or lack of maintenance, several contractors have complained to me in the past about delayed payment for work delivered, which has resulted in services being terminated.

More recently, new staff have responded more professionally, providing realistic budgeting, and visiting the property to take in owners needs, thus resulting in timely repairs or maintenance work. Communications have been promptly dealt with, and greater satisfaction has resulted.

Issues remain, particularly with long term garden upkeep, especially after our long-term gardeners decided to terminate their contract. This problem was more satisfactorily dealt with when the garden maintenance was paid directly by owners and I suggest this might be the solution in future.

In the last couple of months I have been very impressed with the responsive, competent service i received from a female that took my concerns and queries seriously. She was competent, reliable and professional in her manner and resolved the issue within acceptable timeframes. This was not the case before with this company, who often didnt respond or address issues effectively that you were raising.

This staff member has been a turnaround for Brackenwood and i would now recommend them to others. This lady has made such a difference, i hope she remains in the company!

The window that we had fitted by Brackenwood Windows appears to be of a better quality than the window it replaced, how ever Why the sales representative had to give us a quote of £800.00 then when we said No Thank you he reduced the price to £430.00? If you are trying Brackenwood

BRAKENWOOD ARE A TOTALLY UNREALIABLE COMPANY. THEY PROMISE ALL SORTS OF THINGS WHEN YOU HIRE THEM BUT THEN COME THROUGH WITH NONE. WE PAY THEM CONSISTANTLY BUT NEVER SEE ANY MAINTAINANCE WORK UNLESS WE HASSELL THEM NON STOP. THEY CHARGE US FOR THINGS THAT WERE NEVER AGREED APON EG PIANTING WHEN THE APARTMENT BLOCK HAS NEVER BEEN CLEANED. AND NOW DUE TO THEIR INCOMPETANCE OUR COMPANY HAS BEEN DISOLVED AND WE ARE GOING TO HAVE TO GET LEGAL HELP AND GO TO COURT SO WE CAN RE SELL OUR PROPERTIES. STAY AWAY AT ALL COSTS
