On paper this film sounds dull and boring - I mean, how could anyone make a film about a social network and make it fun, engaging and exciting? That's what makes this film so good - it actually is all of these and more - it's a thoroughly enjoyable film, and one that I'm sure will go on to pick up lots of awards. The film is the story of Mark Zuckerberg, and the creation of Facebook. Zuckerberg is played by Jesse Eisenberg, and he plays the geeky student role perfectly. I wasn't entirely sure how the film would pan out, but it's kind of in the vein of a courtroom thriller, with Zuckerberg being accused of stealing other peoples ideas, and generally screwing other people over. Justin Timberlake is one of the biggest surprises of the film - he's excellent as Napster founder Sean Parker

There's been lots said in the media about the truth behind the story - if it's true, then Zuckerberg really is a nasty piece of work, but to be fair, you probably need to trample on a few people get to the point where you're worth $50bn. I'm not going to comment on the truth of it - at the end of the day, anything produced by Hollywood has to be taken with a pinch of salt.

All I know is that it's an excellent film, and with so many people now using Facebook, one that's relevant to an awful lot of people.
