Early on in my engagement I found Posh Girl Vintage and fell in love with a vintage 50's dress. I never expected the dress to be perfect by any means, but it said it had three layers under it, one that had been mended. My fiancé ordered it for me on Christmas Eve, and we waited and waited to get it. I took into consideration the holidays, but our card had already been charged. So, a few days after New Years, my fiancé sent an email since their is no phone number, and a few days later we got an email saying they'd been away on holiday and would get the order together quickly. We understood, we just were glad to hear from them. It took another week to get it, but I was so excited to yank open the box and put it on. Then I looked it the mirror. It was sheer, almost completely see through. I panicked slightly because my wedding is so close, but my girls had fittings the next day and I took it to my dressmaker. He explained that I needed to add a petticoat because one wasn't built in because it would add weight to the dress. I understood that. But the top was totally see through and he said the original lining had been removed at some point (Not necessarily by Posh Girl Vintage). He said we would need to put in a new liner, but in the end we didn't have time to do such. This dress is described as being in excellent condition, which in their verbiage means minor repairs, yet ready to wear. It's anything but ready to wear. We contacted them and she was HORRIBLY rude to us. She said, in all caps, that SHE MADE NO MISTAKES!! And she knew sometimes people had buyers remorse, but not to blame it on her. I love this dress still, so this isn't just buyers remorse, because if I had time to fix it, I would. Then she further demanded we send it back if we hated it so much, but she had to have it Monday. We got this response on a Saturday evening and Monday is MLK Jr Day, so I'd love to know how I'm able to do this. I wish I would've gotten your help, because she was and still continues to be horribly rude to us. All we are trying to figure out is if we mail it back Tuesday, will we receive our money back. I have to purchase another dress. If I could say anything to her without her back talk and rudeness, it would be, what happened to customer service. Perhaps she needs to re-read the Posh Girl Vintage motto. Michele

I had a similar experience with them. So sad they are still at it.
