This is the first time I have used the Door Handle Company and I am very impressed by the choice of handles and other bits and bobs that are easy to find all in one place. Their service and delivery are excellent and the handles I bought have real wow factor. I will be using them again.

Clearance offer not delivered, enquired and told out of stock ! new order with extra payment still not delivered - avoid this so called company

I placed my order on a Tuesday and I was told that items should be with me on either Wednesday or definitaley on Thursday. I chased them on Thursday and I was told that the items are being dispatched today and should be with me on Friday. Still, no delivery. I contacted them again and I was told that the items are being dispatched today and should be with me on Monday. I agreed to pay £20 to get it delivered on Saturday as I need these items desparately. So, instead of next day delivery, I will have my items delivered 4 days late with extra charges of £20 (if they keep their promise this time around). They kept blaming their suppliers. If they do not keep items in stock, why do they promise next day delivery? This was my first and last order with them.

I needed some door handles in a hurry! Looked at B & Q, Homebase and Wickes but was disappointed.

Telephoned an order to The Door Handle Company on a Monday. Unfortunately they were out of stock of one of the handles, but assured me that they would have the stock by the Tuesday.

On Wednesday morning, I received an email to state that the handles were on their way - sure enough the carrier arrived on Wednesday lunchtime with our delivery.

Excellent quality handles - a lot cheaper than the big stores!!

What a service, this company has very competitive pricing. Extremely prompt delivery, and my order had items that I had mistakenly ordered that didn't match. The company dealt with the issue and sent out replacement items with no carriage charge. I also sent the returned items and they refunded the money the following day. Five star service and would highly recommend to others.

I'm guessing if your stuff turns up and its correct and you dont find UK Mail delivery is poor in your area then lucky you, you've got your stuff for a couple of quid cheaper. Bought nearly £200 worth of stuff, had to chase over a week later as heard nothing from them, was promised delivery the next day. Contacted them at 5pm to chase they still insisted it would be delivered. Of course it didnt arrive, and they expected me to wait in another day for it to turn up. Did not offer saturday delivery or anything to make up for it, just gave lots of attitude. When I finally got it half the products were wrong or damaged. I emailed with the details and offered photos, heard nothing for 2 days so rang. Was then asked to email photos and they finally emailed me back at 5.28pm on a Friday. They said they would contact their supplier. Of course as they shut at 5.30pm I couldnt ring them. I could go on cos there is more but - basically their supplier contacted me and did a swap in the end - great service from them. You only find out if a company is any good when there is a problem. I found dealing with DHC truly awful and wish I'd noted the bad reviews on here first. I didnt save enough money for all the hassle, 3 days waiting around for deliveries alone... who can afford that?

I received 4 Jedo door handles and 4 matching turn and releases. Of these all 4 turn & releases had major marks & imprints on which could not be cleaned off. 2 of the handles were in a similar condition. When I contacted Door Handles Company I was told to return them however I have not been refunded any postage either to deliver them to me or to return them. I am therefore over £20 out of pocket. Very poor quality products, absolutely no quality control and unfair deduction of postage for faulty products.

We ordered 13 pairs of chrome door handles a few weeks ago. This company's prices were fantastic so we chose them. The handles came within 3 days, were in perfect condition and of good quality - they look great. So great in fact that my mother in law said she'd like some. I ordered her 6 pairs on 29th April and they were delivered on 30th April. It makes a nice change to deal with a company who clearly put customer service, value and quality at the top of their agenda. Well done them!

Purchased five pairs of black nickel handles. Considerably cheaper than anywhere else I looked at. Arrived next day. Good quality; exactly as described. Would definitely buy again.
