Gran Turismo 5

This game has two main modes, A-spec in which you drive or B-spec which is where you manage a driver.

A- spec mode is great, fantastic choice of cars and brilliant graphics.

B-spec mode is so frustrating, your driver seems to be slower than everyone put him in and 800 bhp gallardo vs standard ones and all he does is brake way to early and instead of gunning downthe starights he feathers the throttle its so annoying.

other bad points are the impossible special events which are very difficult to get golds on. The length of time it takes to load the tracks is forever, and the fact that some of the great cars will literally take hours of gameplay in order to save enough money to buy, these points bring this game from a fantastic game to a good game

A very good game. You can go on GT Mode, Arcade Mode, Course Maker or Gran Turismo TV. I have yet to try out many things on this game. The A-Spec races on GT Mode make the game. Also the Special Events are very addictive. I am only A-Spec Level 7 and B-Spec Level 1, but already I love the game. I got it for Christmas from my mother, and since the 25th I have loved it.

POSITIVES

There is a wide range of game types, races and cars. The graphics are great.

NEGATIVES

The B-Spec races are practically impossible, and some of the special events are insane.

If you have a slow car, you lose practically every race.

Apart from that, the game is perfect. I give this game 4 stars.

I think it's 4 years that everyone has been waiting for this game. It's going to be hard for a game to live up to the level of hype and anticipation that has surrounded this game, and overall it goes into the 'not quite' category.

What's good? - amazing graphics (as you would expect), amazing range of cars to choose from, weather variety, number of tracks - all good. What's not so good? - user interface/navigation is incredibly clunky and unintuitive - really, it feels like a 10 year old game at this stage. Collision damage is unrealistic and adds nothing, and some of the handling could be better - on a dirt track, with traction control off you still can't spin a car through 180 degrees to get yourself pointing in the right direction after a crash.

The kids love it, but I am a little disappointed.
