Siemens KG34NA13GB

The Siemens KG34NA13GB is is a smart looking Fridge Freezer, with indicators and controls on the front of the top door. It looks fine. Unfortunately, it doesn't work fine! Firstly, the fridge freezes food unless you put it on the warmest setting - frozen salad is not recommended! It has a door alarm, which nags you, should you leave the door open, which is good. Problem with that is, it will complain at you whilst you are putting the shopping away, too!

The interior somehow doesn't seem to be very big - it's often a struggle to fit everything in to both fridge and freezer compartments.

Finally, and the real no-no, is that it's just plain noisy! The instructions carry a diagram of someone listening to the fridge, with a tick. That must mean 'this appliance is extremely noisy', because it is. Not motor noise, just odd squeals, pops, ticks, rattles, almost musical at times! If you want an appliance for a kitchen/diner, I suggest you look elsewhere. If you want something for the garage (which is where this is going as soon as we remodel the kitchen, then it's fine, but limited in capacity.
