Sanatogen - Bayer Plc A-Z Complete (Sanatogen)

I've been looking for a good multivitamin for quite some time and Sanatogen was always a valid option. There appeared to be only three readily available brands, those were 'Multibionta,' 'Centrum' and 'Sanatogen.'

At this time, I do not take any of those. In fact I actually take ASDA's own brand of multivitamin called 'A-Z Multivitamins - Everyday Health and Vitality.' (Currently, It comes in a small purple tub, is less expensive than it's competitors and works better - I'll now explain why.)

I conducted a small study on all of these multivitamins and found that when you drop a vitamin tablet into liquid vinegar, that this simulates an acidic environment, similar but not as acidic as our stomaches.

Surprisingly, the Sanatogen and Centrum didn't dissolve/break-down at all which makes me question whether the vitamins/minerals it contains are just passing through my digestive system intact/unused and getting excreted when I visit the bathroom!

On the other hand, the ASDA multivitamin dissolved almost straight away and bubbled and frothed in the vinegar solution. That would probaly (but not conclusively) speak for why I felt 'better' after taking ASDA's product and that I felt no benefit after Sanatogen or Centrum.

If I HAD to choOse between Sanatogen or Centrum (and IF ASDA's brand wasn't available,) I would prefer sanatogen over centrum because it has yet to be fully established whether taking more than the recommended daily amount (RDA%) of certain vitamins and minerals is beneficial or harmful - Sanatogen only contains 100% of vitamins/minerals and this reassures me that I won't suffer from illness/side effects from long-term or short-term overuse if evidence begins to point to 'less is more.'
