“Product not fit for purpose”

I ordered a beautiful bird loo roll holder. Absolutely super service. It arrived swiftly and in good condition. The product is well made and attractive.... But it is not fit for purpose because the only loo roll that will fit in it is one that is half used! It is ridiculously narrow. It is so beautiful that I am really disappointed. It is as if it has never been tested or indeed even handled by anyone who has even SEEN a loo roll! I'm not going to return it; I'm going to take it to my local iron monger and get them to alter it. Would I have ordered it had the item been advertised as "beautiful loo roll holder, will require additional iron monger work..". Hardly.

Sorry to hear you're having problems. We have tried it on several loo rolls ( not Asda though as we don't have them here on the IW) it should be ok up to around 4cm thickness of paper...

It's possible the arm may have got squashed slightly in transit, so you could try bending the arm out again.

If that doesn't work, please email us directly & you can return it to us as faulty - we will happily make a full refund
