I would advise anyone, not to take any business to cosmopolitan student halls, their customer service is truely awful. their website makes no reference to the fact that they require guarantors to be homeowners (every other halls opperators just requires someone earning sufficient ammount and living in the uk)they also say it takes 2 weeks to refund a deposit, it takes 1-2 for most companies so they just take your money and earn interest on it for a couple of weeks before giving it back. stay well away from these people

I love living at cosmo in manchester. it is a new and modern building. the kitchen and living room areas are great for me and my flatmates as they are very big and we have sofas as well as a breakfast bar with stools for us to eat together.

The bathroom is small and easy to manage and the bedrooms are a perfect size, even the singles have plenty of room for me.

I will be living here again for my second year, it is so close to uni I dont even need a bus pass!

overall the location and general stay has been very good at cosmo however, they are extreamly unfair when it coems to giving back the deposit. I had left my room so tidy and had my parents there to make sure that it was all clean, yet when i recieved my inspection sheet it said that i was charged £20 for a white mark. not only was this whit mark not defined yet i had to write and ring them several times just to get a justification. to add to this the staff were very very rude.

i feel that all the good features of cosmo was brought down by this awful expreience.

i understand that it was only £20 but is irrelevant.
