We are all so used to excellent customer service these days that it is shocking to deal with a company like The Traditional Shaving Company. I bought aftershave cologne online, at a discounted price, as a Xmas present, for my husband in November 2020. He opened the bottle a few weeks after Christmas, first finishing the one he had. The product, Geo Trumper Cologne, the same one my father uses) was not right and smelt very bad, rancid. The seller said I could send it back for a refund or a different product. He knew the product had been opened as I had told him what the problem was. He wrote to me a few weeks later and said he could not refund it as it was not in its original packaging which he had not mentioned was a stipulation in his previous emails. He then went on to accuse me of complaining two months after buying and also accused us of using it, deciding we did not want it any more and then sending it back, which is a gross untruth. He has offered to return the product which we clearly don’t want and have no use for in lieu of compensation. I am now out of pocket by £48 plus postage. Have never dealt with a company like this before and hope I never have to again. Further proof is in a review I posted elsewhere. The owner responded to the review saying I had been in touch FOUR months after ordering the product whereas, in fact, it was two months, because there was Christmas in between. I have email proof of that fact, that I am willing to share.

The service provide whilst attempting to seek a refund for a product that was not fit for purpose was appaulling.

Goods were returned in good faith, but company refused to refund nor return goods as the product had been opened and accused that it it had been used.

Company refused to enter any proffessional dialogue and are not to be trusted.

The products they ship may be good, but if you return dont expect your money back!

Having returned a product that was not fit for purpose, company refused to refund and threaten to destroy goods.

Presently ordered a number of products and awaited delivery. Recieved an automated email stating some items are on back order. No details of which. Have now waited 3 weeks and still no further communication or indication of when order to be delivered. Terms and conditions state that no order will be shipped seperately, which is disappointing considering the delay.

Considering cancelling order, which is unfortunate as the reviews of this company have been very good. Obviously where delays are concerned customer service is left wanting!

The product was excellently packaged and included complimentary toffee sweets which was a nice surprise too. The delivery was very fast. This is the best company I have ever ordered from!

Goods ordered Thursday evening, dispatched Friday morning, received Saturday morning. Also lowest price available. Definitely use again.

Very happy with items, have used the shaving cream for many years but the shaving balm and deodorant stick were new to me,happy to say I made the right choices.

I refuse to use deodorant sprays but the stick although initially tacky still allows the perspiration out but nullifies the odour all day, and the balm leaves the skin smooth and fresh.

Order delayed due to out of stock on a couple of items but was surprised when the package did arrive to find some sweets enclosed,an old fashioned way to say sorry for delay with order, nice touch.
