“Pay more and get less”

For buyers of stringed instruments, the promise of a professional setup is well worth the premium added to headline prices, when shipping is taken into account (the vast majority of online instrument shops offer 'free' shipping on most items costing over £100). Unfortunately, on the evidence of two purchases, the problem with their instruments has been the lack of a decent setup. Complaining has not resulted in any attempt to resolve problems and all suggestions made have included increased costs to the purchaser. This shop has a good selection of instruments, but they should probably be bought on-site unless you want to pay more and, in return, be rewarded with more hassle.
