Pricey, Disappointing
For the price Apple charges for these, you'd think the left one wouldn't stop working less than 6 weeks after unboxing the headphones. Very disappointing. I used to tell friends not to buy cheap headphones for their iPhones, but now I realize everyone might as well do that. The expensive ones are just as shabby.

I Have Had Many Different Brands Of Headphones Ove
I have had many different brands of headphones over the years, some great, some poor and some that didn't deserve a fraction of the price I paid. I have an iPhone and an iPod, and being in to sports and fitness, often use them when running or at the gym, and the main problem I found with Apples standard headphones were that they just didn't fit at all well.
I was given these as a birthday present and I am so happy with them. They have had nearly solid use for the last 2 months, without any issues at all. By this point with previous examples, I have experienced discomfort in the ear from poor fit or material quality. Not these, the soft bud is just perfect for my ear. They both deliver the sound perfectly as well as block outside noise. They do not move when I am running and need very little adjustment if knocked or tugged by the cable. The sound quality is great, not Bose standard, but these are not in the same league, although the price does suggest they are on the way, I think they are slightly over priced. However, if you like me want the apple control and mic, then it's worth the premium price as the Sony alternative had a control that was terrible.
All in all, a great product that has so far delivered everything I need them to. very happy.
