Utter Lack Of Sympathy Empathy Or Customer Care
I have had the misfortune to be on the receiving end of all of the above - I had LVL treatment yesterday at 2pm [lash perm] and by 8pm my right eye lid was very sore and kept me awake most of the night - the leaflet that I was given said to apply a damp cotton wool compress which I did all night - the only thing that resulted from that was that the cotton wool stuck to residual glue on my eyelid - I sent a txt message to the number that the salon uses to confirm appointments but by 10.30 had no response and went in person to the salon and explained the problem to the receptionist who kept making suggestions of what I could do including visiting a pharmacist but as I told her they would want to know what chemicals were used which only the beautician would know also she may have seen this reaction before and would know of a solution - I was told that she wouldn't be free until 1pm - I explained that I was going away first thing Monday morning and as they would be closed Sunday to please ask her to phone asap - the receptionist assured me that it would not.be a late call - imagine my shock, dismay and disgust when I didn't even receive an acknowledgement of my visit - I considered speaking to the 'boss' but decided that as he is responsible for his staffs behaviour to clients he should make sure that customer care is a priority

Has Lost Direction
This salon used to be all about great customer care, now the director has no time to give customer care. The staff are lovely but the atmosphere between employees and the owner is tense.
It's considered fine to keep clients waiting while texts and IPad are in frequent use by the "boss". In the middle of a haircut he will walk off to speak to others without any explanation. Giving customers a quality experience has been replaced with a failure to communicate unless to promote beauty salon products, facials, etc. Shame!

Inconsistent And Silly Prices
Newly refurbished and over-pricing has no doubt covered the expense.
Sometimes my hair appointments are pleasant and relaxing, other times it is too rushed and I barely feel that my hair has been attended too.
At the moment I am suffering with breaking hair due to my last colour which they insisted on dying a couple of shades darker than I wanted, I don't know what to do about it.
additionally, they should have a clear, transparent pricing structure on display as sometimes I feel they invent charges. £158 for half-a-dozen streaks of highlighting and therefore a wash and blowdry? I had already paid £107 for a cut with base colour that same week and was instructed to come in for highlights on a different day! All a bit ruthless in my mind.

Brilliant - Have Found The Best
Thrilled to find this gem. Brilliant styling and cut. Worth every reasonably priced penny. I cannot recommend enough.

Best Hairdresser In Hampshire!
Guillaume has been cutting my hair for years...even back to when he worked at Guy Kremer!
His salon in Otterbourne is a pleasure to visit; calm and relaxing unlike many places where you are bundled in and bundled out! The lighting adds to the ambience in a good way, not sure why people want fake fluorescent lights...i prefer to avoid anything that highlights the bags under my eyes!
Considering Guilluame's expertise in hair dressing, the cost of a cut is excellent value. Each and every time i visit i genuinely leave feeling like i should be about to hit the catwalk...only with a few extra pounds than most fashion models!

Changed My Life!
My hair cut at the Studio was beyond my expectations. Guillaume managed to completely rejuvenate my long, lank locks without taking anything off the length and then blowdrying my newly coloured hair into a sexy, nonchalant style. My search for the perfect colourist is over: I won't be going further than Angelique in the future. I feel that sometimes people are only capable put a review about rather than talking directly to the salon... To me the 6 weeks wait to get an appointment was so worth the wait, it changed the way i look and feel. Price is very reasonable for the quality service they provide.

Criminal Cut
After growing my hair over many years I have just had it "thinned" and this seemed to involve razoring layers at all lengths.
The result devastated me as it is a total mess and can not be styled. Never before have I felt my hair looked so awful and do not know what to do. It will take years to grow out all the layers as some are so short. I have been at the salon before but always requested no change. Asking this time to make it more manageable was a BIG mistake. Lesson learned. Au revior Angelique.

Dissatisfied
I was very dissatisfied with both the cut and the colour I received at the Guillaume Vappereau salon. The salon is very small with insufficient lighting, making it difficult to see the colour. I think more time should be given to considering the client's hair type and responding to this - I felt that my cut was a forumlaic approach and I've ended up with an unmanageable mess that does not look good. The colour turned out badly too, and I felt that, again, not enough attention is given to what the client wants, and there is little discussion around this including no colour boards to check how the colour looks and to decide which would best suit the client. My hair has ended up looking far worse than before I went into the salon and the prices are high, so I feel it has been a waste of money. I would not recommend.

On Moving To Hamphire Over 5 Years Ago , I Found I
On Moving to Hamphire over 5 years ago , I found it very difficult to find a hairdresser that I felt very comfortable going to, the one every one seemed to talk about was Guy Kremer ... yes fantastic if you like your surrondings to feel like Waterloo Station concourse at rush hour.
After many quetions to the people I have gotten to know in Hampshire, the one name that kept coming up was Guillaume Vappereau , I must admitt I did have to wait about 6 weeks before I could get in to see him, but boy was it worth the wait , I found Guillaume to be a true professional who listen to what I wanted and also to give me the best advise on how my hair will look once we deceided on a new style.
I love the gentle and easy going nature of the salon as well as the feeling of a luxury and well priced hair cut.

I Am Writing To Inform You How Horribley Dis-satis
I am writing to inform you how horribley dis-satisfied I am with a hair cut I recieved in this salon by I think "angelique" a few weeks ago....
I was highly reccomended to guillaume's salon by my old hairdresser being they are no longer in the area and advised that you were a very very good hairdresser having also been highly successful at Guy Kremer......
Sadly at the time guillaume was fully booked so I was booked in by angelique whom it seems cutting skills are worse than that of a trainee from a college before qualification!!!!!
I can't express in words how unhappy I was with the haircut I recieved......
My hair was completely butchered, not only did she cut it nearly half an inch shorter than i had requested but completely hacked it to bits after my asking to think out my hair.
I have been to many good hairdressers around hampshire and never had such a shocking result
I had to go and pay for it to be rectified at another reputable salon as I was so upset and embarressed I could not and will not be returning to guillaume's salon again!
In my opinion she should not be on the shop floor if this is the work she is producing, not only that but I was also charged the same price for the hair cut as I would have been for "Guillaume" being the boss which i think is absoloutly discusting......
In my opinion she should be removed from the shopfloor and re trained before allowed to cut again on the floor
