After arranging to drive 2.5 hours to view 2 type r civics, On arrival I was told one of them was sold, shouldn’t I have been told this to save a long journey? Especially after being pestered all the previous week by their joke of a salesman. Anyway after inspection the 2 year old car with its suspicious 7000 miles. Dirty interior, kerb damage alloys, lumps out of 3 tyre walls. Front splitter hanging of badly damaged. Scratched paint work . After complaining to the sales manager ( avoid him by the way) he says aww well the lad hasn’t been selling cars long! Just what you want to hear whilst being prepared to part with 33k What ever you do folks avoid this place and it’s clowns.

Spent 2hrs with salesman put deposit on a car at 4pm £500. was to be a cash sale. On returning home call from son who lives in Spain due to the lockdown could not work and was due to move needed cash urgently. We then found we could not afford the car as this could be an on going thing. Called next morning at 10am salesman said he would call back, no call, caught up with him at 5pm and was informed of no refund. But insisted on trying to sell us a cheaper car which we informed him we could not do.We are pensioners in our 70s and can not afford to lose this money. I will be writing to the sales manager, SO WATCH THIS SPACE. What happened to helping people in these unusual circumstances? This was sunday 15th march.car Honda Jazz.

Do not believe anything the sales men tell you if calling about a second hand car they have for sale. And if you hear the term "exceed your expectations" hang up. This garage should not operate under the Honda brand, i was told absolute lies in relation to a cars visual condition which was the total opposite to the photos they posted on their website and the sale man continued to lie. As i had traveled from Ireland to purchase the car and had paid based on my multiple conversations and photos shared, having picked the car up in the Rain! mistake i know, when i returned home as looked at the car in the dry the following day i had a list of scratches/marks/bad touch ups/cracked light, leaking lights, interior marks not mentioned etc the list went on. Having followed up immediately with the sales manager whos attitude was unbelievable and the many conversations went on and the list of issues with the condition of the car increased. I really could not strongly enough recommend not dealing with this garage. In my years of driving and car purchasea this had to have been the worst experience of my life, the attitude and lies i wouldn't even expect from a second hand back street car dealer.

We've purchased 3 vehicles from auto mart in 3 years spending just under £100.000. No problems with the first two vehicles however the third vehicle we purchased in the first few days got an error on the dash "restricted performance" meaning we can't drive the vehicle more than 50mph. We've took the vehicle back on 6 occasions and never received any apology and made to feel as though we're the nuisance and told "it's just the car doing its own thing" received the vehicle back yesterday as Honda had it for 16days (no hire car) I had to constantly chase for updates and had no idea when we would receive our vehicle back. I requested a full list of all the fixed they have carried out each time they have had our vehicle to be told "sorry we can't give you that information, we've gotten in trouble in the past" therefore no idea what the fix is!! Today after receiving the vehicle back finally yesterday were driving to the airport in Birmingham and the error returned and we've no option but to drive at 50mph!!! WEVE BEEN LIED TO TIME AND TIME AGAIN FROM HONDA AND AUTO MART!!! JUST PRAY YOU NEVER HAVE ANY ISSUES AND HAVE TO USE THE SERVICE DEPARTMENT AS YOUVE NO IDEA WHEN YOU WILL GET YOUR CAR BACK, WHAT THEY WILL DO TO FIX IT / THEY WONT TELL YOU / YOUR MADE TO FEEL STUPID AND NO MATTER HOW MUCH PATIENCE YOU HAVE YOU WILL BE BROUGHT TO TEARS WITHOUT A CARE IN THE WORLD! Honda will take your money but just pray you don't have any issues!!!

Took my deposit, failed to do anymore to help me purchase the motorcycle, refused to refund my deposit, even after they said it was refundable when I paid it. If they did this every time, they dont even need to sell anything, If you value your hard earned cash, then avoid at all costs. All the reviews on this and all other wbsites cant be wrong.

Buying the car was not that bad, it was when they had to do some paperwork Could not get it right, 3 times returned by DVLA to transfer private plate took 6 weeks to do it. Then on picking the car up still had the Cox motors sticker on it after requesting it to be removed, service book not stamped up, Honda service plan not transferred over sold with 2 years free service, needed another mot on a car as they had motted it 8 months before it needed on. Sales staff not knowing product and how it was advertised. Lefthand not knowing what the righthand is doing.

I too had the same problem as the above reviewer at this dealership with regard to transferring the number plate to my new car. After being told it would be 'no problem' transferring it, there was in fact an additional six week wait whilst the application went back and forth to the DVLA. They blamed Cox's, and Cox's blamed the DVLA. If these delays are indeed due to the inefficiencies of the DVLA, then this should be made clear to customers when purchasing their vehicle, and they should be upfront about possible hold-ups if transferring a plate.

My overall rating of this dealership is carp. I can't spell. This main dealership do not understand that they have a duty under the sales of goods act 1979 to supply goods of satisfactory quality. We bought a Honda 125XL and within 4 1/2 months and 280 miles it sounds like a bag of spanners. Instead of offering to fix it or give us our money back they consistently tried to blame me for not taking out the extended warranty which they offered at point of sale, and have never made any offer to repair at their expense. All very smooth talking and 'wanting to help' but at my expense. DON'T BUY ANYTHING FROM THEM

Bike went in on Thursday to replace 2 bolts on front disc brake on my Yamaha xt660x, service promised me a call that day, no phone call, waited till 16.30 Friday, still no call, so I rang and was fobed off by service as wasn't sure if they had parts or had to order!!!! Promised a call back. Waited till the following Monday, still no call, so I rang, service said they had parts and would fit them. Customer service awful, service dep did not seem interested, funny how when your deciding whether to buy the bike off them they are all over you really friendly and call when they say they will! Don't use Blackpool Honda you will be v disappointed. Friends have had similar dealings which I should have listened to! Never again!

I can believe any of the terrible reviews below. Went to Blackpool Honda approx 2 weeks ago to buy some particular motorcycle gear. Was told that they did not have it in store, but sales person convinced us to buy it and put on order for deliver following day. For this we would have to pay upfront. Went to shop a few days later to collect and goods have not been received but nobody new anything about them. Promised would ring next morning. We had to ring them following day, and were told the item was unavailable (managed to buy elsewhere without problem since), even so we made them check stock when placing the order. Offered to put money against another item which we declined as they did not have a suitable alternative. We were then told that we would need to come back in to get refund. Partner explained that we would visit next Sunday to get a refund on the card. We visited again on Sunday (now the 3rd visit before Christmas when one has other things to do) to get refund. We were told on this occasion they need a piece of paper from Lancaster (which could have been requested since Monday) which was unavailable before refunding and also the manager they need for the refund was not in that day. Asked to speak to the manager in charge that day , but nobody knew where he might be. Worst service we received in years.

Interesting to read the other reviews and I totally agree. I do not live in the Blackpool area so drove 200 miles to pick the car up as it was exactly what I wanted. Chips in the car bonnet had been poorly patched and on driving home my vision was obscured by deep scratches in the windscreen. There was also a stone chip still in the windscreen on the passenger side (I hadn't seen this when I picked the car up due to bright sunshine). Over time I also discovered my new keepeer document had not been sent off and they gave me the wrong spare key. Although they did agree to replacing the windscreen as this was a safety issu trying to sort out other issues with them has been an ongoing battle as they failed to respond to letters and emails. I would definitely avoid this company!!

I was going to get this car from Blackpool Honda, They took a £500,00 deposit and did not refund this.
I bought the car from Barker Miller, and they have been fantastic, I got the car for £2,000 cheaper, and I really enjoyed its performance and economics.
After visiting your dealership on a number of occasions, I have completed a "Customer Profile" stating my requirements for a car I would like to purchase. Part of this profile states that my budget has a maximum of £8,000.00.
The CR-V at £11,400.00 is above my maximum budget. I know the car was not prepared for sale for your forecourt as it had just come in that morning, and I understand that preparation for its sale would have to be undertook, and I am sure, when it is prepared, it will look better.
I gave a £500.00 deposit which I would like returned to my credit card.
Many thanks.
John Mcloughlin.
I never got and refund, they did promise a £150.00 refund but never sent it, after months of trying to contact the manager, Sam Harrison, he never answered my calls of phoned back.
In this day and age I have found them to be very poor, customer care is none existence, once they have your money.

Why should the dealer refund your money? If deposits were refundable why would they take them in the first place?, just be glad it was only £500 and the dealer did not persue you for "loss of prifit" as you have signed your contract and paid your deposit you are bound into and agreement with the dealer to continue with the sale if you pull out of the sale the dealer is well within thier rights to claim the profit they would have made on the sale if it had gone through - they did not do this I assume? (most delaers do not do this, they just retain the deposit)
