The whole process of purchasing my laptop was virtually painless, I ordered it online and paid for a two day delivery. The delivery company took possession of the item and scheduled it to be delivered the next day. The laptop arrived well packed and worked when powered on, what more can a person ask of a supplier.

The computer I ordered did not arrive [a different cheaper model ] was delivered Simply Acer rectified the mistake within two days, delivering the correct machine and collecting the the wrong one. Easy to deal with as a company and very cooperative.

Ordering was easy, and I could track the progress of the order throughout. (Used click and collect). The order was available well within the promised 72 hours. So far the Acer Aspire XC-705 has been a doddle to set up and start using. Very pleasedwith it.

I love it, and it does everything I want, but there are two small niggles. First is I wish there was a warning light to tell the user if Caps Lock is on. The other is the Matshita DVD/CD player writer. While functioning correctly, it is locked to region 2, and this cannot be changed by any of the clever programs available. Trying to play a DVD produced in USA recently was impossible. To play it I had to borrow a friend's (HP) computer with a region free DVD drive, make a copy and then take the copy to play on my Acer. Information on what make of DVD/CD drive was fitted would have influenced my choice of machine.

I needed a laptop to replace my old Acer, and decided to try this company. Ordering was straightforward and although I was prepared to wait for delivery (I chose the free delivery option) the laptop arrived two days later. It was well packed and worked straight out of the box,I have no complaints at all. I would certainly use Simply Acer again. First class service!

Wrong laptop in box (factory problem). Staff dealt with efficiently. Pre-installed McAfee was a real wind up. Constant irritation until uninstalled. Too much other pre-installed stuff taking up more disk space than total memory of my previous machine. Otherwise seems like a nice machine. Website description wrong; spec did not say Windows 7/8 but Win 7 only which is what I preferred.

Very quick (next day) delivery,so no problems there. Easy enough to set and and get going. Windows 8 is however another matter. Download (takes about an hour) 8.1 which did help matters. Miss very much Microsoft Word and Adobe Photoshop which we had on our previous computer, so downloaded OpenOffice and Gimp to substitute. Both these although working in similar ways do require a steep learning curve. We seem to be spending most of our time trying to get Windows 8 to emulate XP which we were perfectly happy with. Have to be brave and tough it out I guess. Windows media player also different to set up although have managed to achieve some success. The computer itself is good value for money and I would recommend it. The only problem I had was with miniature CDs as I had to put the Computer on its side to get them to work.

Very good advice on phone. Local call but they also phoned back. Very fast delivery. Arrived within the 1 hour delivery slot they gave. Paid for the setup/testing service as well. The computer works well and some techy friends have confirmed its all OK but there is no way of me knowing whether Simply Acer did what was required. Maybe something for them to have a look at?

Service was excellent - even though i opted for the free delivery it came the next day and the laptop is what i ordered and good as new except it keeps freezing and showing the blue screen of death. not sure if this is a fault of windows 8 or the laptop itself as i have looked it up online and the error is typical of all windows 8 users. however it regularly freezes with no warning so i have to turn it off and start again, even when i only have 1 program running

In 2012 I switched from Dell and bought an Acer laptop and am very pleased with it. So, when my Dell desktop looked as if it was going to expire after 7 years dependable service, I took a look at a replacement Acer from Simply Acer. I settled upon an XC600 and, although I have had it less than a week, so far so good. It is small, powerful and, with a good specification, was reasonably priced. Other than a small quibble about placing the order (an issue with the delivery address) and a hiccough over the next day delivery date - leading me to award four stars - the XC600 was mine. Setup was straightforward and I was up and running in good time. Although it is still only 7-10 days I am very pleased and would not hesitate in recommending both the product and the supplier.

Ordered a gaming PCM for my son's birthday, Acer Aspire V3 571G, great specification, good graphics and chassis very sturdy. Sonia very pleased, his games run fast with i7 processor, 8GB RAM, and 1GB dedicated graphics with NIvida performance. Thanks, will definitely use this source for future purchases. Thank you. Andrew
