Purchased boots 10 colour in black to do my roots I am a hairdresser and some times if I dnt have time to get my hair done at work I buy the cheap 99p ones from home bargains! This time I was in boots and picked this one up and was scared firstly it said it had a none drip formula and that it was a foam yet it was very watery! And I noticed that the bottle was very warm to touch almost hot I reluctantly applied it to my hair as my roots were discusting to find it was hot as well it didn't irritate me but stung my eyes from the fumes and now I have a very bad head ache they should take off the shelves and throw them in a skip

I dye my hair regularly and often find little difference in results between many brands. The Boots Colour10 permanent colour however is very poor.
Although it is quite cheap it is by no means the cheapest I have used and I have had far better results for £3 than from this.
Firstly it is difficult to apply due to its being so thin and watery that it refuses to stay put and it drips horribly. Also it smells very poor and releases terrible fumes which made my eyes water.
But worst of all is its cover. Having gone from my natural hair colour (very light brown) to the Deep Espresso (very very dark brown) you could barely see any difference.
Without a doubt I will never be using this again. Far better products are available at Wilkinsons for half the price.
