Next Buses

This is almost a brilliant app. Almost.

As it is, its a pretty good app.

It basically allows you to find your nearest bus stop on a map via the phones GPS functionality.

It then tells you when the next buses are and where they're going.

You can pick favourites - ie the bus you normally use - which makes it pretty handy.

The only draw back, and its quite a big one, is that it appears to use timetable information rather than any live feeds of info. So, as anyone knows that has waited for a bus based on when it 'should' arrive, the data is not the most accurate.

I occasionally get a bus which is 1 stop from the start of the route, so this information is quite accurate because at this point the bus is much more likely to be on time based on the timetable. However, if I ever get a bus half way round a route then the timings are a little off.

Shame it doesn't use live data as it would be incredibly handy, but as it is its still a good app worth having.
