Give Them A Chance!
I have some sympathy with the negative reviews but this has been a terribly difficult year with us all clambering to get plants and I think we should cut them some slack.
Initially, I ordered geraniums, impatiens, and hanging baskets at a very good price. As time went on it became apparent that the orders were very late. I, therefore, cancelled the hanging baskets as by this time I could make my own. I also cancelled the impatiens. I received a letter of apology and a refund to my account within the 5 days quoted for both orders.
Although very late, the geraniums arrived and my first thought was that they were extremely small and that I had wasted my money. I planted them on in a grow bag and now have a display of high-quality plants and did not lose even one of the 70 that were excellent value of money.
I gave them a chance last year 2020 and turned out okay.
This year 2021 a very different result.

After Waiging Nearly 6 Weeks And 5 Emails With No
After waiging nearly 6 weeks and 5 emails with no reply i found there phone number in Jersey. 30 minute wait told them that as into June and no reply i bought so e from local garden centre. I canceled order verbal and previous email. Was told they had done this . There web site showed my order not even started. Later that day was invoiced and sent next day, where usually takes a week. There words not mine . I phoned again to cancel but found out the calls to Jersey cost me £10 no answer. Havind a deli ery date would of helped. In that ti e frame i could of planted my seeds again . Here is a company taking work on because garden centres closed but not enough staff to çope.

Abysmal Quality And Poor Customer Service
I see by other reviews I am not alone in complaining about this supplier. I have had three deliveries of plants so far from Gardening Direct. All arrived in a poor state with broken stems , badly packaged, useless to put in the garden. One of these was ordered as a mega plant which in my opinion came nowhere near to fit that description. I tried to cancel remainder of order for refund as their website offers but was fobbed of with a reply stating the remainder of the order had been dispatched. One week later no sign of any plants. Do not waste your money with this business. terrible customer service and plants unfit for the garden. They should be closed down.

Zero Delivery And Charged Me Twice.
I ordered 3 Christmas Plants to be delivered to two relatives, and one friend. That was on the 18th December. It is now 29th December, and not one plant has been delivered. Not only that, but they've charged me twice for my complete order.
If they couldn't deliver on time, they should have warned me and not taken my order. They have my payment (twice!), and I've nothing in return. It's no good them delivering them now, as Christmas has come and gone, and the gift plants have little meaning now.
I'm utterly disgusted with what they've done to me.

Terrible. Ordered A Hedge Trimmer. The Online Bil
Terrible. Ordered a hedge trimmer. The online billing process changed the amount I was being charged. Received an email saying item had been despatched. It never arrived. Emailed them - no response. Phoned them - said they'd send another one. It never arrived. Phoned them again. Said they'd look into it straight away and phone me back. They didn't. Phoned them again and this time told that they no longer stock this item and a computer error had caused it to send out an email telling me the item had been despatched. Said they'd refund my card straight away - that was 2 days ago and I'm still waiting. Back on the phone tomorrow. They're very polite on the phone but completely useless at doing anything useful.
